Unearthing this dead thread because 4chins flat earthers amuse me.

Every week or so there is a new flat earth / space is fake thread in /wsg/. Why, I do not know. The same webms are posted every time, and the same retards keep making the same points. It's not entirely clear who is a troll, who is a grifter, and who is a true believer, but they all sorta sound the same. I'm gonna post some webms that I find particularly funny/retarded, I'll start with my favorite, gob dang satellites:

It's hard to tell, because the trolls just take what the true believers say, and post it on 4chan. It's fun to troll people with flat earth because people get really pissed off when you tell them the earth is flat. Like really mad, like pouring sugar into their gas tank while anally raping their mother, mad.
 
As someone who has observed this community and even went open minded with this, many people in this community often go above and beyond and claim to be prophets. I can't take these people seriously.
 
Many years ago I saw a video of a famous debate between Stefan Molyneux and a flat earth guy.... was a LONG time ago. At the 42 minute mark the guy broke down, and started crying and confessed to not being happy with himself and he was looking for meaning in his life.

I think it was on Brighteon or BitChute.

Can't find it anymore. Was insightful.
 
There is a project called The Final Experiment that should hopefully end the debate between whether the earth is or isn't flat. People partaking in this experiment would be in Antarctica during December 14 - 18 to film the Midnight Sun in Antarctica (since according the Flat Earthers, Antarctica doesn't have a midnight sun apparently due to some supposedly fake Midnight sun footage, (The Flat Earthers probably made themselves)). Interestingly enough, every Globe Earther agrees to join with only 4 flat Earthers agreeing to partaking in this experiment. Notable people who rejected partaking in the final experiment includes Eric Dubay, Flat Earth Dave amongst most other flat earthers. Eric Dubay even responded saying that he "knows" the earth is flat and doesn't need a trip to antarctica.

In my observations. I conclude there are damning evidence the earth is a ball and Antarctica does have a midnight sun. Webcams in Ushuaia show a neverending twilight during summer and webcams in upper antarctica (just below the antarctic circle) show that the sun does not set whatsoever. Flat Earthers only fixate on the webcams near the south pole where you cannot get any decent internet connection down there due to sattelites being out of reach for the most part which explains why some of the footage is missing because when the sun in the footage, it makes it much brighter which in turn drains more memory. Thus takes up the bandwith.

Also, The Final Experiment reports that Flat Earther are often a lot more rude compared to Globe Earthers with even evidence of FE Dave beating his child off camera.
 
as overused as the term is i can only conclude that flat earth's persistence as an idea is because some government insitution is propping it up to provide an avenue of skepticism that is in no way a danger to the system and only serves to ostracize anyone dumb enough to take the bait from other people that share their skepticism of the government but are smart enough to focus their attention on shit that is real and matters.
 
I recently spoke to a woman who's a flat earther and holy shit are they batshit insane. I brushed off all the talk about Antarctica and Hillary Clinton's glass ceiling comment as nothing important, but they honestly believe that shit. What was most damning is that many flat earthers are very religious with the Bible and follow some bastardized form of Christianity that picks and chooses verses to prop up their twisted beliefs based off pseudoscience. I'd rather be stuck in a room of Scientologists and Mormons instead.
 
I also love how Flat Earthers are literally on supercharged schizo posting after The Final Experiment proving there is in fact a midnight sun in Antarctica and their desperate attempts to debunk it.

Flat Earth is such a weird conspiracy, because why? Every other conspiracy I can at least understand why the powers that be would have a motive to do it even if I don't agree that they actually are, but flat earth is like, what do they have to gain from convincing us the Earth is a globe?
 
A guy paid prominent flat earthers to go to Antartica to see the 24 hour sun. Most got converted to reality after the trip.


Witsit Gets It got on the flight with six compasses to test whether they were actually going South. Saw the Antartic landmass from above. Sees the 24 hour sun. And says, "It doesn't prove globe earth. It's just one matching data point."

This is his livestream from Antartica. Honestly, it's a fascinating watch, just because you have some average YouTuberin Antartica livestreaming and being very real about his experiences and affirming everything.
