I like that Jet wants to do varied content in the interim but I don't know how I feel about his ideas. What does everyone think of the house party thing he wants to do for casting? Let's assume that the stated purpose isn't bullshit lmao. Would it actually be the best way to vet contestants? It probably would weed out the Binxes and Emmas, but I worry that loudmouth fags would take over the energy, get cast, and end up making the season boring.

I like the house party casting idea. I think it’ll be easier for them to feel out people in person rather than through audition videos. I hope they stream it. Maybe if they turn it into a weekly occurrence and maintain a revolving door of people it would keep it fresh. I like the idea of watching normal people do things like prepare a meal or have a board game night

It will be bad, then good, then bad again, then good again, and when it's all said and done we'll look back on it as great, some of the greatest content ever, but during it we will argue and doom and screech, just like we do with all of Jet's work.

No, especially if that's the primary selector. You'd miss out on the Landons, the Twins, and other shut ins. Vickies would also avoid it unless it's convenient for them to get there. Jet said nothing would be paid for on behalf of anyone outside of the party. This idea selects for obnoxious fans and people trying to advertise themselves.

If they're not careful they will stream too much and kill the excitement that builds up to the actual seasons.

Just don’t mention the farms and if you audition, expect to be doxed. Going onto the show in any form is opening a window for the world to see everything about you. If you are truly okay with that, approach your video with a “show don’t tell” strategy. That’s how you get the correct “vibe.” Don’t just talk about what you want to do and how you’re a fan and whatnot. Tell some interesting stories, emote in a way that shows who you are, be both natural and well-prepared. Maybe practice a bit that illustrates who you are.

Honestly I don't know why they wouldn't do a D&D style campaign with the most entertaining fish. They can do it over zoom, have TTS incorporated in some way (maybe as enemies/immersion), and it'd be a reasonable alternative to practically every D&D youtuber like Critical Role (if they're even still popular, same with Geek and Sundry) that has been destroyed by wholesome chungfagus.
