With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Okay, so I think S2 had the best set design and therefore some of the most amazing screenshots/scenes out of context, but it was really boring a lot of the time. I didn't hate S4, but it didn't finish so it doesn't really count.

So obviously the key to a good cast and season is to make sure to cast at least one firefighter. Maybe it makes Jet feel self-conscious to be reminded that total retards probably contribute more to society than him, so he tries harder?

(I also still want a magician and an old-school metal/goth dude. King Cobra is not replaceable, but it's a fun archetype in general.)
 
Jet said they were going to bring on Wackytheclown and have him be the town cryer/jester for Bloodgames 2 (Duanye’s role from the first Bloodgames). Also Wacky applied to be on S5.

I'm annoyed because I was going to throw it on last night, but opted not to because I figured I could just watch the VOD at a later time. Leave it to Jet to be a faggot and private the video. Wonder if he did it purely because he was embarrassed about the slip-up at the end.

In the same boat. I had time to be there for the others and recorded them but this one time I miss it and there is nothing around.
 
Remember the wiggers always gas light and lie. They think it's funny when they fuck over the fans and made the show worse.

If they say Sam is not going to host to make me think he's going to be there more, if they are streaming auditions it makes me think they already have a cast and it's less likely to be a fan season.

i hope we only get a few of these people on the show and the rest are non-fans. this season's already on thin ice, another season full of tryhard fans would be very bad for the show. not to be too dramatic but it could possibly be the final nail in the coffin. theres maybe a handful of those auditions that were halfway decent... i think if they get one or two normal fans and one or two sped fans it could work, but no more than that.

How bold of you assume Jet is competent enough to run the dog and pony show without Sam's guidance.

S4 proved he can't. The "challenges" were so bad. Jet had 0 planning except for Sam's candy challenge idea. That was obvious.

My theory is he was waiting for Sam to actually help with the show but Sam checked out.
 
i think i just realized what was the funniest moment of S4:
"I am the host of the fucking show!" :lit::lit::lit::lit::lit: genuinely felt like one of the shitposts from /tv/ brought to reality, fucking hell
 
There has been a bit of activity so I figured it would be useful to see what changes have happened. The question of "why" people would suddenly resubscribe when its obvious that there is no season for a month or two is for you guys to puzzle out.
