With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

i don't know about other areas, but korean places are rare around me and if someone lived within ordering distance that could be a good clue.

At the end we got some musings on the state of things. Speaking on the subject of transparency and making content outside of the 6-week show duration.

TLDW would be that they think having just a main show is 'not enough'/'wasted potential' even if financially it keeps them going. They wish to make content that is not the Battlechat and Streamstars filler for the offseason. They hint towards this being more metatextual stuff, BTS-like things. Whatever this means in practice we will have to see.

I did not watch all of this, but at the end when I was watching I did see an example of a pretty successful audition that I though was interesting as an example.

I think it is nice to at least know that there is movement towards Season 5. Not sure how effective public auditions really are, even as content. Yet I feel positive about all this, and I think that is mostly just that I can now see that there is something happening at all.

Short note for any insane retards out there reading this; They mentioned during this stream that Auditions on the site were fixed up and they will be accepting them for a little while longer if you are feeling some self-harm ideations.

you can use vlc to conver the entire stream into a video file. I've got a bunch of it if you wanted. also telling on yourself as an applicant to fishtankhehehe

I got the last 2 hours or so, I think that's at least most of the site part of the stream. I can't see myself looking over it all really, but there must be some good little bits of info I missed all over this. Good to know though. They are planning on streaming even more tomorrow so there is going to be a lot of things to wade through.

Burt dropped some lore tonight on stream. After his YouTube stream was taken down for violating TOS, he continued to stream on Kick and said that he was in a nine-year relationship with a man who is now in prison.

I honestly don't have a problem with this, as long as the projects don't distrupt the main Fishtank seasons. I like what I'm seeing so far, they deliver their promise to be more transparent and will be making content in the off season too. Even though, it took them 4 seasons to finally do good.

I saw the entire stream from start to finish and you're not missing anything. a few minor fishtank characters came up. all of it is contained pretty well in the thread
