Honestly KF opinions on Fishtank are probably the most reasonable anywhere, I'd be taking them into account first and foremost starting from the planning phase
Priority number one: simply finish the fucking project as planned, no quitting, no derailing.
No drugs at all, and no alcohol for production except for maybe one party night mid season to keep up the energy, and a wrap party at the end.
No illness on set or you're fired.

I think that'd solve 80% of the issues right there.

Fishtank wouldn't be Fishtank if they did this.

This is the thing, it was fun watching Greg get messed with in SeGREGated among other things that happened during the show, but with this second one there was a heavy emphasis on the theme of the show and challenges for the content, which COULD work, but all the challenges didn't seem very high effort or long so most of the time when I tuned in it was just a bunch of tards hanging out and depending on the day/time they were very fucked up off of booze or weed toys.

A for effort, there was some funny moments. Sounds like it was Frank that wanted to go further with shit and that really brought Greg down or maybe it was other people in production causing issues, maybe both of those things.

I found Greg’s show boring. I wanted to see Frank hassle people but it was all Greg awkward flirting with Trish and the stupid pies. I only enjoyed when Jobe showed up and when the Skippy guy was an angry drunken blue Smurf / sonic the hedgehog. People would have paid money to see some hasslin’

That's not even really hassling but it's still kinda fucking with people.
Maybe they should come up with more stuff like that if he doesn't directly want to hassle people.

He made the money he needed to make, overall it was pretty successful, so like, idk. Stop acting like it was a failure, it wasn't.

Just be like 'yeah some things didnt work so we're gonna think about what to do in the future'.
Instead it's like "i cant do this! im never doing it again!" its like calm down bro.

People can like segregated more or say they like this or that more - but overall it was a decent show imo. I don't know why everyone acting like it was this colossal trainwreck or whatever

I agree. I'm referring to someone running a separate project, trying to ensure the highest possible quality. The Fishtank formula of playing it by ear and fucking around behind the scenes just doesn't work with anything but Fishtank. And imo it barely works for Fishtank.

While some spin-offs benefited from S4 ending early they seem to have gotten the opposite end of the stick. They aimed for the 2-3 week timeslot between the official day 42 end and bg2 but people down for them are already on spictank to the point where the #fishtanklive hashtag is basically spammed to death with it (by probably paid/incentivized clippers) or they already tuned out until the next big thing.
Unlike the former it also seems to be heavily reliant on audience engagement with no baseline structure and only four contestants (of which two are already gone and the gooner bait girl having been added in). I don't think they have given up though, they're shopping it around on Kick and are giving out "whale page" access to streamers to promote it.

Surprisingly the NerdBallerTV's Kick Prison Stream "Last Woman Standing"/gooner bait barely touched the Fishtank sphere at all. It was a cell full of OF chicks for a prize of 10k for a week. Can't really talk about it too much as I didn't do more than browse around a bit when it ran. You could redeem free channel points (from viewing) for the girls to win and they had a wheel they spun for challenges/punishment. Given the nature of who put it on they also had some "uncensored" content hidden away on their website (IDK).
It involved some other streamers which at least touched spheres with Jon on Ice Poseidon's hunger games like Xena and Dtan....

Got banned multiple times I think and the girls were catty... but it wasn't much of a success.

Double posting but Burt just answered a phone call with someone on stream, some podcaster that I guess Burt did an episode with. He mentions the episode is coming out this Saturday (I think he mentions Jimmy is also in it) and asks Burt to be his co-host/recurring guest on the show.
