With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

tbf the original threads trash talking her on lolcowfarms (or whatever it was) was mostly full of gossipy women who like to shit on other women. nothing really extreme, just a lot of nitpicking over things they see a cringe or weird. same with Charls, basically just saying hes a balding schizo creep. the one person you'll NEVER see get shit, though, is Nick. with all the skeletons in the MDE closet, he seems totally clean of any lolcow behavior.

Unlike someone like DSP (whose bankruptcy went through specifically because he operated as a sole proprietorship - therefore there was no real distinction between his personal and business expenses) I am almost certain than MDE people + Fishtank are totally separate legally and that Fishtank is probably a limited liability company or something similar.

Given how risky it is legally speaking (fucking around in houses, the non-insignificant chance they get sued) there is almost no chance they are not operating the venture through an LLC or something similar.

Therefore any purchases that Jet makes (unless he puts them through as business expenses) probably have no relation to Fishtank and in general their personal finances are totally separated from Fishtank as a whole. They probably get a guaranteed cut or even daily salary (especially so for Jet & co who are there basically 24/7). Just because Jet has enough personal money to spend on dumb outfits, it doesn't necessarily relate at all to how Fishtank works as a company.

Given the competence of production so far it seems they're extremely stingy on certain things but Fishtank in general is a world of unpredictable expenses so I can imagine they don't have an exact understanding of profit. Bloodgames could've had a "profit margin" but it could've been like $100k which would basically be "no money" depending on what the initial cost/investment in the show was.

charls has an awesome life and family and it's great he reconciled with the MDE guys and pushed through to get WP2 finished. he's not a lolcow despite sharing a hypercitational posting style with whatever the right wing version of weird twitter is now and getting drunk on stream literally once.

who cares what a bunch of deranged hogs that pick apart his wife's photoshop habits and business on the other farms think

In a weird way this may end up being a good thing. Tensions were already so high in week 2 that it felt like the end of the show. Them cooling off in a hotel for a few days and going through a stressful event together might prolong things a little once the show starts back up.

I don't see that happening there is a good case for a few lawsuits on the grounds preventing the use of first amendment on privet land...

I don't think that would really carry any weight, but I'm not well read into how town/state orders work in a case like that.
They haven't been prevented from speaking anyway, they can go anywhere and do it - they just can't do it in those houses that are located in neighborhoods.

To be pretty fair to the residents of the town: how would you feel if a 24/7 broadcast TV show set up show next door to you and the police were visiting every 2-3 days and you could hear shouting and shit while you were in your back yard every day? On top of that it is also extremely likely that the gaylogs have also been harassing the neighbors besides the show itself to cause maximum drama.
