I like Alex well enough (a lot more than Freddy, actually), and he's definitely going to go down as one of the most memorable fish in history, but I just seriously don't think he's built for the tank. By the time actual TTS got turned on, it just turned into "Alex B screams at the camera"-tank. He'd go ballistic over even a mild insult (still does on his streams). He'd have walked eventually even without the Jackie/Frank stuff. Alex was only a fish for like 9 days. I agree he probably got it harder than any fish in history, but I think the writing was on the wall long before that.

But yeah, Freddy is not a villain, he's just a chaos agent. I don't think Alex has it in him to throw his piss at a teenage girl, almost choke out a fat autist on a vague promise of $500, or set up literal pissbomb traps. In the quiet areas you can ironically hear more since its so quiet and theres no noise from highways or trains, even just residential traffic and people milling around. Freddie also loredumped a lot about Alex B and and Burt and talked about seeing videos of them. It wasn't TTS loading him with thin information, Freddie flat out said he saw them.

some localities require short term rental declarations, these are basically always rubber-stamped unless it's a covenant community/gated community/insane HOA
if the structure is to be altered in any way building permits are also required
you must also comply with all local zoning and noise ordinances, which just infinitely compounds the already complicated nature of this.

fishtank is probably legally the same as a content house, which Ice did have to get a lot of permits and paperwork bullshit for when he ran one in LA. He used to have an "open door policy" and streamed constantly. The cops shut it down multiple times. Because of this he had a guy named Brent Kaskel(Scuffed Steve Jobs) around to handle these things. He is someone who's been around streaming forever and just kinda knew how to navigate this shit, what lawyers to get, who to talk to at the city, etc. He always inserted himself into ice's shenanigans and the IP community hated him for both this and for "cucking content" because he'd often step in and basically tell ice he was inviting a swatting and to fuck off and shut the streams off when he was doing things like feeding Blade shrooms or getting coked out and rowdy or putting a very drunk Blade around women for litty groping content or having teenage girls in a house with alcohol or just... an infinite number of retarded things those niggers got up to that SSJ "cucked"

Ice definitely has similar people behind the scenes that do this for him now, but doesn't involve them in his streams because the community hates it.

edit: also the cops showed up at his hunger games because a disgruntled contestant called them - likely alleging assault, the cops reviewed the footage as well as his consent forms and let the show go on. he also dropped it and was just pissed off because some other contestants basically jumped him, he's still on good terms with ice. I think he just was going through the interview process and then looked up the show and saw some popular videos on social media which at the time post-S3 were definitely Alex and Burt stuff. He says he "doesn't know anything about the show" because he hasn't actually seen it live or gotten any information about the competition, just funny clips. It's also pretty normal that he'd follow a few fishtank orbiters/clippers like nico_avchd, especially in the normie zone that is instagram, before he came on since they weren't keeping the fishtank part secret this time around with casting.
