The stream was just promises and a little bit of timeline info. They claimed to have finally planned ahead and wrote stuff and they're returning to what the fishtank core should be instead of trying to constantly innovate. There is no reason to believe them going off of their track record since its mistakes after mistakes.

If they are telling the truth about Season 4, 3 week break, then Bloodgames that is basically the whole summer just being Fishtank.

I hope people document all of the happenings in the thread because it is going to be busy.

After starting the stream half an hour late, Jet reveals that the “investors stream” is actually a server load test, as they will be handling that side of things in house from now on.

The stream is severely laggy, and keeps cutting to black.

Edit: Jet reiterates that basic season passes will now be only $10 a month.

Edit 2: With 28,000+ viewers, the stream is now completely offline

Edit 3:
Stream is finally back up.

Summary:
-Jet says their financial situation is “pretty good” and they are not currently accepting investments. They are open to possibly reopening them in the future, but it’s not something they’re worried about right now.

-Ben says that the season 4 cast is the best yet. There will be 8 total contestants.
-Says there’s no point in trying to top or replicate what they did with “Famous House” in season 3.

-All contestants know (to some degree) what fishtank is. They don’t want to repeat what happened in season 3 with people breaking down and crying for hours on end. Jet continues to hype up the cast.

-Ben says they’re incorporating the best aspects of all three seasons. Mentions shooting “scenes” and the doghouse specifically.

-Jet says that they’re “trimming things down” and sticking with the original premise of the show. But there will be a pretty major twist in week 2.

Bloodgames 2 is planned to begin roughly 3 weeks after season 4 ends, and something else is coming after bloodgames. Doesn’t elaborate on what that is. There will be some returning faces for bloodgames, but no one specific is mentioned.

Endorsements are gone. Replaced with stocks.

That’s pretty much it.
Were so fucking back!

To give them some credit, I think having a "back to basics" season and having a chance to revisit/refine what makes the core of the show great is a really good idea. Of course, they have to actually stick to this and history suggests they won't. I also wish they still had at least 10 contestants, I'm just not sure that 8 people is enough when you take into account the inevitable number of duds that every cast has.

I am hopeful (stupid). With actual planning they can get away from the "be interesting" prompting towards Fish. There are people who just generate content on their own and people who need more support to shine, so planning can help elevate more quiet people. I think it would be helpful to have more of the longer challenges they did in Season 1 come back. They kind of just need contingencies and they have just been operating like this so far:

The big hat the key to all this, if we get Ben's big hat working. 'Cause he's a funnier hat than we've ever had in the Fishtank

What are your guys recurring arcs that you're looking forward to the most?

I know they are hated, but I love the Fatty and Frank Hassle arrivals everytime.

Fatty really drives up the fatigue for both the viewer and fish in ways only he can.

Hassle is also great, I don't care if he's one note, it's the right note. He gave a masterclass in S3. In S2 he literally had Tay performing humiliation rituals on herself that she regrets to this day.

I wouldn't say this is an arc, but for me the magic of Fishtank is the unknown and is what I'm most looking forward to.

Learning about who a new cast of contestants are. How they interact with each other. How they are effected by the ever-degrading conditions of the house, the interaction from the viewers and the increased stress they are put under.

And of course most importantly - the sense that something crazy could happen at any time. As much as it can be frustrating to miss kino moments because you're asleep or at work - the fact that without notice the funniest thing you've ever seen in your life could be about to happen is what makes the show so addictive and a true 24/7 experience.

Frank is the ultimate test if the S4 fish actually turn out to be fans. I wonder if he'll make any of them ragequit like Alex B.

Also I can't wait to see what kind of unhinged weirdos they bring on as freeloaders this season. Will we get another Jobe or Jeff?

Make Fatty a deathfat again and I will accept his yapping.

Yeah the freeloaders in S3 were very good somehow. S2 had some terrible ones. But Dumbgay was great.

The thing with Frank, is even if youre a fan, when someone ashes a ciggie on you, it's going to male you seethe. Especially wjen you know thousands of people are gonna see it

The last part of the final edit with the Rhode Island animal cops wandering around the aftermath of S2 is amazing. Solid last episode.

I wish they could show the full reactions from when they got properly swatted earlier in the show, but that would probably be a legal nightmare.
Everyone says the season fell off hard after Jimmy quit but this edit makes the Swamp Olympics look like proper content. GG wigger editor.
