I didnt get the bit about his business getting debanked, that is what spurred me to start recording since chat was asking if anyone could do it. So Burt was on a lengthy phone call with Dellywave, airing various grievances related to Fishtank. These range from still being confused about what it is about and it's audience, how it's humiliating for him to be seen as a weak little bitch (and clipped crying), having his tutor business basically fucked since he got reported to CC companies and having been told to resign from his volunteer firefighter position due to being a liability (someone sent "problematic" clips to his boss, they previously knew about his gay/escort shit and that itself was never a problem).

• Delly says Andy Dick was creepy when he called her because he told Delly he loved her
• Burt says that Andy Dick shouldn't be allowed to call or interact with the other stream stars because he's a "legit registered sex offender"
• Burt disagrees with having Andy Dick on the site at all but understands its because he's famous, says if he was running this company he would never want to associate with somebody that problematic
• Burt says that fishtank fans often call him a degenerate, yet they are the ones getting off on him being gaslit, manipulated, mentally fucked with, and humiliated, which he says is really messed up
• "Like I'm legitimately mentally ill. I have schizo-affective disorder and autism, but yet people found it funny to watch me go crazy looking for clues that didn't exist and basically driving myself nuts to try and figure out what the show was. • "I think the show portrayed an image of me that I'm not sure I actually like. How I'm just like a gay, schizo, psycho retard. When before the show I was a very accomplished academic... like, brilliant man with lots of awards, accomplishments and degrees. The show just makes me look like a silly cartoon character."
• Burt feels like he still has to maintain that character in order to remain engaging to the audience
• Burt would instead like to talk more about his interests including lifetime movies and musicals but the audience is not interested in that.
• "Some people in the fishtank audience seem deeply anti-jew, antisemitic, misogynistic, racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, basically all types of hatred and I feel like I'm supposed to go along with it even though it makes me deeply uncomfortable."
• Burt feels bad that he goes along with this stuff even though he has lots of jewish, female, and gay friends.
• Dellywave admits that all of her racism, homophobia, etc is just an act. She hopes that its just an act from MDE too.
• Dellywave: "I feel completely the same about all of this. This is a very eye opening conversation."
• Again, she's full of shit. She has been a complete edgelord the entire time, sieging heil for several hours for the salute challenge.
• Burt's says his friends are disappointed in who he's become on and after the show and he says that he's become someone he's not even sure he likes.
• Delly is doing therapist talk and a weird soft talking voice to console Burt that makes me so angry that I have to keep pausing the video to take a deep breath. If you want Delly hate content, this is the video for you.
• After Burt talks about being constantly gaslit by TTS in the house, Dellywave says "Imagine what it's like for me being in my own room" and goes on to talk about how traumatized she is by constantly being watched, as if this wasn't her idea and she's not happy to do it for the attention.
• About 17:30 in Burt says "I think I have actual PTSD from the show. Even now I still feel like I have cameras on me almost all the time... It's kind of like a creepy Truman show vibe where I'm never alone, I'm never safe."
• Delly continues to make it about herself and says she feels the exact same way, even when she's at the store
• Burt: "I used to hate being ignored but now..." Faustian.

• Someone in the audience reached out and sent the Fire Deputy problematic clips of Burt on the show and he determined Burt would be a liability
• Burt says that the fire department knew that he did porn and sex work already and that was fine. But they thought that the stuff they saw on fishtank was even more problematic to the point where they asked him to resign.
• Reminder that on Gregtank Burt frequently said that sex work was less degrading than the shit he had to do in the tank and afterwards
• Burt speculates that if he stayed in the fire department a crazy fan might have set a fire on purpose to try and get him to show up

• Delly says "I do a lot of things that don't interest people either, but my life isn't for them. It's for me!" Then turn the camera off you stupid bitch.
• She continues talking to Burt like a child and making herself cry with her inspirational messages as she tells Burt that she wants to be his friend and he can talk to her any time. It is continuously interrupted by loud fart sound effects.
• The Dellywave call ends at 44:19

Spoiler: Audience Caller

• Some guy calls Burt immediately after the call with Dellywave ends
• The caller rightly points out that Dellywave is using a victim mentality and that if she was really being mistreated she wouldn’t continue streaming of her own volition
• Caller accuses Burt of not taking personal responsibility for anything. Caller tells Burt that the audience never told him to out Connor and that he did that only because he was angry at Connor. Burt says he feels like he was goaded into it. Burt eventually concedes it was his fault.
• Caller makes another great point, “You said you played up your mental illness for the fishtank and tonight you’re criticising us, the fans, for enjoying it! What’s up with that?”
• Burt says he was only criticizing the small subsection of the audience that gets off on his mental breakdown moments and craziness, not realizing that’s 100% of the audience. He sort of backtracks and admits he was playing things up again.
• Burt finds it hard to draw the line between entertaining and problematic. Burt is on SSRIs now because the audience finds his overt sexuality problematic.
• Caller shits on Dellywave and Burt says she’s very “sweet and genuine” Lunacy.
• Burt defends Dellywave by saying she probably feels the sunk cost fallacy. He doesn’t say “sunk cost fallacy” but he describes it, as he probably has no idea what that is since he has a very weak understanding of economics despite having a masters degree in it. Caller points out that this is the sunk cost fallacy.
• Burt then says that if he had quit fishtank he would have been canceled and humiliated regardless with nothing to show for it, which makes sense.
• The caller consoles Burt by comparing Burt not being able to work as a firefighter anymore because of fishtank to Burt not getting hired by Blacked because he had done gay porn in the past, “It’s the same thing!”
• Caller actually makes a good point that Burt already has porn out there which would prevent him from doing other things too. The problem isn’t necessarily what Burt did on fishtank, but the fact that the show exposed everything Burt has ever done to the public.
• Burt is upset by this publicity, especially because of the “cartoon character” portrayal, despite going on the show with business cards that advertised his porn with the express goal of publicizing himself and getting famous.
• Caller then starts to question Burt’s intelligence, speculates that Burt’s IQ test was fake and he was a DEI hire for Mensa.
• Caller says he loves Burt and tells him to have a great night before hanging up around the 1 hour mark.

The main takeaway is that Burt made a Faustian bargain with Sam Hyde to become famous and lost everything else in the process.

At around an hour 15 burt considers doing prank calls. He says that when he did sex work he would get prank called all the time. Burt starts actually doing prank calls at 1:27:30. They are hilarious. I won't summarize but you should listen for yourself.

I was one of the people way back on the subreddit back in 2016 who pre ordered the book (I also have a custom picture on the inner cover which was a perk of pre ordering it) and when it finally came the postal service made me come in person and sign for it which has never happened with any other package I've ever gotten in the mail. I'm 100% on some federal watchlist. The book honestly was a huge letdown. It's basically a collection of sketches, rants and half baked art projects that the MDE boys did back in the day. I did resell it and made a good profit off of it years later though which was sick.

Moral of the story? Don't give Sam your money.

I think this fact is most unfortunate with Tai, I really would love to see him do more stand up and comedy related content on his own but to my knowledge the only content that features him is Fishtank. You'd think he'd be casted into some indie comedy projects all over the internet but that hasn't happened as far as I know and I think Tai really deserves it. The dude is hilarious and if I ever had a comedy project I was working on I'd try to get Tai involved. It's just a shame to me that Fishtank is the only time we ever get to see Tai, and they used him way too much.
