With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I'm gonna say it. I'm tired of Burt. There. I said it. Hes funny in small bits but that's it. I was never a big fan of him in the second half of season 3(he was great in the first half ill easily admit) But this whole constant talking about how he wants to have sex with literally any male he has come into contact with has been so over played. It was funny at first, but Burt acts like someone who loses their memory every 30 minutes and just does the same routine over and over. Without TTS he seems largely incapable of creating original content, he uses it like a crutch. I think season 3 suffered in quality when they began making every single bit a Burt bit.

Hit me with your best Burt defenses. He's washed out. Overplayed. Good at one point but no longer. Both gay, and black.

Literally nothing, they've just been sitting around while Frank browses Xitter constantly while TTS about Binx repeatedly blasts. Just a quick way to get some cash I guess, but I had to turn it off for putting me to sleep So I'm not sure if anything actually happened yet. It's on par with Powtank in terms of nontent.

Nah I agree to an extent, though I don't think it's Burt's fault tbh. There's literally nothing happening right now and I don't necessarily expect Burt to turn down an offer to (presumably) get paid to return to the Fishtank house for a day. I blame the wiggers for trying to shove everything remotely successful in Fishtank down our throats until we're all sick of it very quickly (Josie, Fatty, Tai, and now Burt. Probably more examples too). Burt has had some funny moments here and there in Powtank 2 but there's literally nothing for him to do but listen to Binx TTS and make gay jokes while Jet rakes in the cash.
 
My favorite Burt moments are when he gets put into wildly unfamiliar scenarios (Burtgames with Xavier) or when he has to interact with strangers (Panhandling and ball bros ticket selling) In both of those situations we see him do something other than talk about sex and it was great. But by himself he just doesn't have anything else to work with and he has a very one track mind.
I think Burt still has a lot of potential for comedy if they set him up to actually do shit but we've seen his whole solo playbook at this point.

Burt had a handful of moments that were great and many that were not.

People who watched live will see him in a far more positive light simply because he provided a constant stream of very low-level entertainment. During FTL downtimes, people sent a TTS to Burt, and his eyes bugged out and darted around the room. Not really great entertainment after the third time but slightly more entertaining than looking at people lying around.

If you ask me Burt is extremely gross, and what he provides on his own doesn't make up for it.

He avoids saying anything bad about Sam but bad mouths most of the wiggers and also quite surprisingly given how they seem to be amicable and left things on ok terms or at least agreed not to talk about each other, Letty.

I don't think Jon knew this was being live streamed based off of his reaction at the end, but i do think that Bleau AKA basedwealth did know it was live, you can hear him say "Ok its off" while being a few feet from the camera and tells them its charging, he probably wanted to farm clips and drama off of Jon. Using a retard for clout and attention is his whole thing.

Very curious what Van's Abi accusation was. I cant make it out but as a follow up to Jon asserting that Letty gives good head to Production Van said "Fuckin' Abi was like mentally obsessed with [unintelligible]". Sounds like it ends with Jet, I hear some J sound. also sounded a bit like "drinking" -something-.
It stood out because any Abi whore allegations are news to me.
Maybe its two names, obsessed with -someone- and Jet. the context is maybe throwing me off.
