Jet, You’re a fucking liar and a coward. We had a deal—American Dude Lodge was set to air on Fishtank this February. My team poured thousands into this, worked nonstop, and took time off. I take back everything I've ever said about Jon, he's based, smart, strong, literate and has an eloquent European accent.
 
Sounds like Jon had some retarded and possibly hilarious content on the official site. He probably pitched it and Jet was intrigued. Eventually he decided it was a bad idea. Maybe he wanted control of the FT brand. Maybe Jon's idea was just that fucking retarded and we're lucky it isn't on the site. Either way, if Jon is correct they didn't speak with him directly, that's pretty shitty.

Jon is a fucking goldmine and can only help the FT brand. Now this rant doesn't mean he'll stick to it, but this is bad. The way he critiques Jet is actually pretty incisive and well targeted. Hard to imagine someone familiar with the show reading a few of the lines not nodding in agreement.
 
Not only was everything Jon said true and well agreed upon by the fishtank community, he also did a masterful job of painting Jet into a corner by accurately predicting how he will react. Now when Jet inevitably ignores this, he will be playing directly into Jon's portrayal of him. If Jet actually does respond then Jon also gets what he wants, boosted attention for his American Dude Lodge show.

I'm convinced Jon did not write this beautiful essay himself, but I'm going to give him credit regardless because I believe he has some integrity and balls.

In the last WeFunder update they did still acknowledge their affiliate streamer scheme. At the same time they also mention letting people touch grass between seasons as a positive.
Not sure how they reconcile the two. It is possible some internal choices have steered them in a particular direction on that point.

I am inclined to believe Jon on this. The timing also suggest he got kind of screwed if this info got to him around the time of his posting at AB and Jet, given that he planned to start on Feb 3rd.

Didn’t brian mention something about having work on S3 & Jet did mention potentially bringing back mama juju

There was also a rumour (cant remember where unfortunately) of TJ showing up late into S3

I don’t remember who but either Sam or Jet said that Brian would be part of S3. Sam explicitly said during the ending of 2.5 that Trish would return as Voodoo Mama Juju. I don’t remember any rumors about TJ showing up for S3 however he did stop regularly streaming once S3 started so who knows.
