With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

ill play the wiggers advocate. not that any of this will be successful that is.

1. keeps engagement up on the site and social media
2. get some shekels to throw peanuts at the monkeys in the form of tts or whatever
3. tryouts to find annoying faggots to be freeloaders
4. testing of new ways to annoy fish

plus the wiggers already have the house, camera, website, etc. so there really isnt any cost to them beyond food for the fish and the prize money (what is the prize for this anyhow?)

also also, the wiggers themselves dont really need to do anything right now. ive seen where jet or ben hangs out and talk in the cell, but other than that there is nothing for them to manage or run, so it is easy street for them right now.

as far as i can tell this is basically free money for this wiggers at the moment. it is one of the few decent decision they have made.

The only risk they run is people losing interest in Fishtank as a result of this... And I don't see that happening, personally.
 
it's a stable to test pacing/monetization while training up weirdos they can callback and throw at new fish in future seasons

Letty choosing to sleep there and participate is pretty wild... she genuinely enjoys the cells and reddit room tards
 
Something interesting to note from dumbgays twitter space from a few days ago: despite how close they seemed during 2.5 he doesn’t consider Trish to be his “friend” but a “frenemy” lol


also when asked which fish was most likely to steal from him he also picked Trish

she seems to legitimatly enjoy being on fishtank. i guess it beats getting an actual job. plus she gets so much attention from it.

though im not complaining, she is a great fish.

There was a 4chan post going around that Sam hired Letty as his secretary, which would explain her hanging around with the wiggers since the show ended, I hope it's true since it would be good for her to actually work and not be a neet again.

I heard something similar awhile ago where she was going to be working as a "writer" or smth.
maybe it was in connection to wp2, i dont remember.
agree it's good. she's funny and also not completely retarded.

After season 1 she was brought on as an actress for WP2 and ended up writing for the skit she was in, apparently what she wrote was really funny but we have no way of knowing until the show releases.

Letty is one of those people who can do good work but has no internal motivation. You have to make her do stuff, or put her in an environment where the has to do something, when left to her own devices she just sits at home on Discord all day like she did before she joined FT. Many such cases.

Sounds like depression or ADHD.

You can also factor in that during COVID she was reaching her peak adulthood brain development. From my understanding this is when most young adults use their culmination of everything they've learned in young adulthood to become a fully functional adult. For 2-3 years of what most generations consider the best times of their lives she was forced to sit inside and wear a mask.

Someone on /tv/ pointed out that in the description of the cell trailer it now refers to the season 2 episodes as “edits” instead of “episodes”.

I’ve heard different theories/rumors about the episodes lately. One rumor that’s been floating around is that Jet asked for a series of clips instead of episodes. Sort of like the clips they posted on their channel before. The rumor is that the guy edited episodes instead of the clips and that’s why they got delayed.

A different theory is that the editor somehow lost the edits or clips. The editor had posted about needing a new computer about halfway through 2.5. He posted a pic of his editing timeline at it was only a picture of the first day.

Either way, it’s extremely concerning that they went from “the s2 edit is 100% done” to an indefinite hiatus. I’m pretty disappointed because I was pleasantly surprised at how good the clips they posted were.
