I cant say for Vance but (not sure how true this is) its alleged Brian did what ive seen being called a “cock-lodger” where you basically live off your GF while doing effectively nothing. Isnt that what CK (grain of salt mind you) accused him doing to her & his “current” GF ?. Assuming he got a paid for 2.5 maybe hes not finically reliant on his current gf anymore so she holds no reigns over him.

that's sort of what i was thinking. like this whole hoarderman thing is all he has going for him in his spare time, he doesn't have friends where he lives and he's pouring his time and energy into something that won't profit him. I can't speak to what they might've gotten into with Jimmy hitting him or paying his property taxes but it's clear he needs to be around actual peers.

the timeline i think is, mental health facility -> tard college ->living way in the north and not in PA with his parents but having no friends -> meeting hoarderman who broke down outside his house.

I think a lot of the stuff he came into the tank with this season were gay ops, he kept talking about waiting for a code yellow and not getting a reply and a lot of the stuff he said about vance's ex or summer having anal with jon were pretty localized to /tv/ and /bant/.

the mephisto thing was good for one season cuz the guy he trusted with that wasn't insane but if he's handing out his keys to every retard on the internet he's going to get fucked up.

Brian went there early on with Jimmy and said there was some valuable stuff there and that Jimmy should be focusing on a narrow selection of stuff like tools, but that most of it was indeed just rotted trash that needed to be cleared. The way Jimmy was talking about paying hoarderman's property taxes and shit during 2.5 made it seem like the relationship has the potential of turning parasitic if it hasn't already. There is a line where Jimmy can be a friend and help clear space for the guy for mobility reasons and maybe sell off a few of the items to help repair some of the house, but paying off taxes for the guy because he smokes up all the money he has on weed is totally unacceptable. Jimmy needs to be focusing on his life, not playing tugboat for an irresponsible guy more interested in getting high than ensuring he has his affairs in order.
