The Jimmy reveal probably wasn't the best example to use. He had been gone for like 2 days and it's not really shocking people didn't care.

It's what really put me off for the season, as upset as I was over Jet continuing to push things with out a safety net, and as much as I enjoyed Jimmy on the show, I also agreed he had to be kicked off for what he did. Bringing him back, even in an obviously temporary bit, made the show look even worse, and with Sam on board this time. I found it somewhat shocking in that, I couldn't believe they were dumb enough to do it.

I'm still amazed how many people still don't see Jimmy returning was a bit, I think to prop up TJ. People actually think Jimmy was going to stay in the house for days with two guards 24/7. Or that Sam really was relying on this edgelord to "make the show good again".

I still think Jimmy was suppose to throw the fight when TJ got worked up enough, and quit because TJ was too much of a bitch to really fight and Jimmy was told not to win, but I'll accept that's much more up to debate and I'm very schitzo on TJ rigging(I think they benadryled Shinji with the eating challenge so TJ would win the finale).

please elaborate
Again I'm opening admitting I'm full schitzo on this, and reasonably acknowledge it's much more likely it was just exhaustion.

However, I'm extremely biased against how much they weighted things in favor of TJ, how reckless they were with the Fish's health, and how much of a beta bitch loser TJ is to need a heavy hand put on that scale. And the timing of the food challenge, Shinji 's poor performance in the boxing match, and his collapse and the panicked shut down of the stream. My theory is they just put a few Benadryl into the gross food. I'm saying they hit him with qualudes or anything that strong. Just a few bennies to make him tired and sluggish so they could drag that witless retard across the finish line.

Sam said to Shinji at the very end that they thought Shinji would win and they were just gonna let them fight until TJ collapsed and declare TJ the winner of fishtank anyway because of his points lead. How does that mesh with your theory? You think they were lying or that they expected Shinji to win a boxing match after being drugged?

Shinji was also deathly ill

Shinji mentioned getting sick in the final week or two and, after returning, he showed he had a fairly high fever. Maybe Covid, considering someone there had it (either Delaney or Nifty)?

Shinji's problem was his heavy smoking from boredom and stress plus the existing issues he had with allergies being exacerbated by the lack of ventilation and deplorable conditions of the house -- drywall dust just floating around in the air, vomit, milk and piss suffused carpets everywhere, food just hurled and left to rot under piles of random stuff, Fatty's shit covered ass just wiping feces on every surface of the house. Add in the fact he was malnourished for 3-4 weeks and sleep deprived you get a good understanding for why the guy just wasn't up for any sort of physical exertion. Greg said every single person involved with the show except Tayleigh ended up with a bad case of the flu when the show ended, maybe Shinji was the first to show symptoms but who knows. Shinji already had covid between Christmas and New Years, he just took his benadryl or whatever he had and just slept the day away.

Sam lies.

As I said, I fully admit it's much more likely just exhaustion.

Going to say something positive about season 2 because I've been so negative lately I think bringing in two giant black security guards to keep Jimmy from attacking people was a hilarious bit. It also got the amazing moment where someone over TTS made a really good joke about silent minorities which made one of them laugh during Jimmy's reddit joker rant. That was a hilarious night.

"I disliked Cuddle Tank as much as anyone, but Shinji never showed much determination or stamina.

And with people who are lightweight, lacking in punching ability, and have no knockout power, the only thing that matters is stamina.

They really did bend all the rules to get TJ through the finish line. If they had given Shinji two days to refresh outside the tank like TJ got, this may have ended differently. Shinji was already pretty beaten up in the last few days of the show, and you could see it from the very beginning of the final challenges. He also made the big mistake (Sam is an awful boxing coach who give anyone tips that only apply to big guys) of trying to knock out TJ when he has no knockout power.

I don't remember, was the match 10 or 12 boxing rounds or was it until someone is out?

Anyways, the only tip you would have needed to give either TJ or Shinji is: don't try to beat the other guy, just defend. They both have weak arms and neither of them has the stamina to do 10 rounds. And any punch made by either should have gone to the body unless the head was extremely wide open. Any body shot takes away stamina, even weak ones, but only punches with power do anything to the head.

During the match Sam was saying that they were going to go all night until on of them couldn’t go anymore. I always found it a bit weird how the final challenges were physical battles between Fish. Mud wrestling in season one and boxing in season two. I wonder if they’ll shake things up in 2.5

I'd hate to be "that guy" but I'm going to be that guy.
Any updates on season 3? I wasn't really impressed with how forced season 2 felt production-wise, but we're coming up around 5-ish months since the conclusion and I haven't seen any news or announcements. usually this is when they would say something. I was kind of looking forward to spending a less intensive summer break watching retards on tape.

To expand on what the last guy said, there has been some fakes spread but I'm pretty sure the real details from Jet was that "Season 2.5" of Fishtank was going to be called "Blood Games" and it'd be 2 weeks and a spin off of Fish Tank and not a one off.

ehh, I'd rather they just do a season 3 and actually listen to what the audience wants this time.
