The "Ben" he's referring to is an attention starved loser that started going by "Benleaks" on 4chan after anons named themselves "Lettyleaks" and "Josieleaks," he was making fun of those lame larps. Bad Ideas convinced himself that Benleaks in those threads is Ben from the wigger crew, paid to keep Fishtank relevant on 4chan. People have pointed out that Benleaks is RexPolaroyd (https://twitter.com/RexPolaroyd) but Bad Ideas refuses to accept it. Benleaks has trolled Bad Ideas off and on for months and Bad Ideas believes pretty much anything he says because it's what he wants to believe. One weird thing is how Benleaks didn't pretend to be Ben to begin with, it's a joke name that he kept because he likes to be recognized.

Basically, Bad Ideas thinks Ben from production fucked Josie and has harassed him on 4chan. Benleaks also (easily) convinced him that he talks with Josie regularly and that she is constantly laughing at him with her whales in a private Discord server.

Does anyone like Jet anymore? I remember during FT season 1 and before Jet had a lot of good will among MDE fans. His stock after plummeted. Is there a more disliked person that orbits Sam?

I'm a pretty big defender of the entire wigger crew, but no. Not anymore. He isn't funny. He's annoying and condescending. He is a bad Sam Hyde impersonator who only seems to capture the absolute worst of Sam's traits and none of the positive ones. I get the feeling that Jet hates the MDE fan base, despite the fact that he was a r9k namefag and lolcow not even ten years ago. He made it out and now has a completely unrelatable persona. I also think he's behind the scenes chopping it up with YouTube trannies and politically correct faggots trying to be relevant in that scene. He would throw based and redpilled right wing Chads under the bus because they simply aren't cool enough.

If I could give my own take... there was a feeling towards the end of season one where Josie and Letty clearly didn't like doing some of the dumb stuff they were asked to do (lick Chris, do exhausting workouts, lose challenges they clearly won) but they were gamely sticking it out because they wanted to stick the landing and they trusted the crew and wanted to make it all good because there's mutual benefit in it being good.

In season two trust was zero and Jet seemed totally disinterested in fixing it. All the contestants really want is to break even, financially and exposure wise. Winning is a goal, to be sure, but it seemed like for 80% of the cast they came out of the show worse. Shinji is a good example, that one explains itself. Summer, Meg, Cole, Brian, even some freeloaders like Delaney (yes even Nifty), Jimmy, all lost more than they gained with the amount of crap they put up with and the reputational damage.

It makes Jet seem like a miser, condescending and disrespectful because the many many times people expressed a concern to him that they weren't going to be made whole at the end of the project he'd go, ha ha trust me tho

Maintaining trust with the Fish is crucial, and you’re definitely right that trust was lacking in season two. There’s no point in putting in any effort if Jet or some other member of Production is just going to go back on their word or screw you over for it.

Jet should go back to being the good cop like he did rather successfully through most of season 1. Give him basketball shorts, a lanyard, and a clipboard. Have him ask the fish what they want for groceries, check in on them, and have nothing to do with challenges or punishments. He should not be a director. He should not wear an oversized suit and sunglasses. If they get people who aren't familiar with MDE, convince them that Jet is just some 20 something year old production assistant they hired to run menial tasks and has nothing to do with the evil inflicted on the fish and just wants them to be comfortable and happy. Better yet, just have him actually do that. Then slowly have him start participating in the gaslighting like the fake ad reads from season 1, since the fish will already trust him. Or just get rid of him. His ideas suck.

I still think Jet is funny, but I hate him as the person running the show. Just two examples that come to mind: Jet saying to bring up Wendigoon from the basement and the Minecraft videos with Nifty. I like having him on the show, but not running it.

He has done some funny things on occasion but 95% of his ideas fall flat or were flat out bad to begin with. Anyone could match that ratio.
