With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

I still think that her role became a thing only in the middle of S1. Admittedly she had proven to be recklessly opportunistic with about everything that was thrown at her and her being driven offline is the result of it. I really don't believe that she is some flawless actress. Sam just knew how to use her (admittedly low) qualities in the show. She and her Discord simps had prepared her to be this cool right leaning girl, but everyone pretty much seen through it because a lot of it was just fake. Towards the end it seems she was convinced to just become a complete goblin. It's understandable to me why people still disliked her despite her role change and sometime after S1 ending. In the end it is a role she accepted with a knowledge of how freaky people can be due to the stalker problem that she dealt with even before S1. I understand liking her for shit she done, but feeling pissed off about the Internet reacting like that is a waste of energy. Letty knew how obsessive people are, she knew how weird Sam's fans can get and she still done it for money and fame.

Summer is the one that broke the seal on the whole "fan of the show" thing when she recounted season 1 to Jimmy and Shinji when she was in the doghouse on day 2 or 3.

Tayleigh just recently mentioned in one of her recent streams that she thought she was going to deal with a similar problem after the show, the amount of hate TTS she was getting towards the end of the show was rather insane and it made just chilling in a single room talking to TTS impossible, which is extremely different from how they were in the middle of the season where TTS mostly had a chill vibe during her bunk crochet podcasts. She exited the tank and the hate more or less disappeared on the spot leaving a grab bag of the TTS trolls and chill people.

It makes you wonder how much of the image of Tay being the "villain" was just artificially curated by rejecting positive or chill TTS and just allowing the negative ones through.

I think this is likely to be the effect created in every season. The love for Josie generated oppositional hate for Letty. The love for TJ was comparatively lukewarm compared to Josie especially after how things ended so the hate for Tayleigh was similarly not as big a wave.

I think people could tell Vance would pussy out if it came down to him versus Josie so Letty had to deal with most of the heat. Same with Shinji.

While Cole was still around the general TTS for everyone else was much more vicious and then eased off for a while after he left.

Knowing that's coming, production might... should... exploit it, by making the audience darling (so far a goodie two shoes both times) take responsibility for their fans or by spending a couple hours warning the audience before deliberately inverting the hate pyramid just to see how that goes. But instead they'll probably just keep sacrificing the toughest bitch at the altar. Or assuming that whoever poses the biggest threat to the audience's baby doesn't deserve to make it to the end because of the vitriol they are getting.

To get it out of the way, it's obviously hilarious to watch paypigs get actual trash, almost poetic if you consider the trashfire the show turned into.

But It's still insane to see this from a business perspective. I can only see it as an outright insult to any supporters / fans, sending randomly tossed meaningless trash packaged in a box for 200$ or whatever they charged.

Whereas, comparing this again with S1; the eBay auction they hosted made actual sense. It had full disclosure of the items and it was the "buyer's fault" if they ended up paying exorbitant amounts for trash (aka their favorite parasocial memorabilia).

At this rate, if S3 ever comes, they will have soured the people crazy enough to spend money on their shit and made it obvious that they abhor them as well as any other willing supporters.
I remember it being mentioned somewhere that the biggest paypigs from S1 did not appear for S2 (at least with the same accounts)
Would be interesting to see fan (account) retention between the two seasons - if there's any way we can track that data.

There are tactful ways of making fun of your audience and including them in your comedy and then there's this (whatever you may call it )

Trishles stream was interesting. We got finally got in person appearances of Myco (her brother) & Mahlia (her sister). Also got some new F.T lore. Remember when i said to you guys jokingly brian only needs tattoos & piercings to basically be trishes soulmate (given he was a stoner at one point) and that Trish would probably do them ?. Well Trish just confirmed on stream Brian is apparently coming out to California & hes getting a tattoo from Trish lmao. Conspiracy time too: Trisszzah made it CLEAR Brian isnt coming to her house. Wondering if that’s because “the bedroom walls are thin” lmao. I could absolutely see Papa Melchor booting the door down if any S2 style closet shenanigans happened. Papa Melchor made homemade Raman for trish mahlia & her boyfriend (who also appeared on stream). JC & Greg were in chat but unfortunately still no on screen chat back. Apparently fatty is doing a lightsaber battle at rolling loud (dear god). Myco & Trish played RE5 before trish switched to reacting to F.T clips for the rest of the stream.


All in all a pretty good stream

I can empathize with the desire to have something physical from the house, some kind of memento, but it is literally throwing your money into a fire. Whales are used to that though.

The first season had the glimmer of delivering NEET zoomer failures to some kind of realization of the vapidness - the second wallowed too much in its own fumbles, I think mostly due to cast and contestant selection. They're giving these products away for free, so anyone bitching about the quality is a whiner, but it's fun to criticize that's the game

Im gonna get trash can awarded to oblivion for this but i thought sex with no condom pretty much always = pregnancy ? (unless the woman can’t give birth anymore)
