TJ is a good looking guy if you only saw his face in a picture. Any perceived good looks instantly goes out the window the moment you see him in person and realize he's short guy, he has no muscles, he's stimming like crazy, and he can't form a complete sentence. A girl like Taylor would never be into TJ. Not just because of his looks or stimming, but also very different personalities. TJ said he's a homebody and rarely leaves the home. I was about to agree with you, I remember him being somewhat handsome, but after checking google images, he's just painfully average; you see a James Franco anywhere, your neighbor is probably a James Franco. That's probably why the girl went to the media instead of accepting a date with him, she felt insulted by how average he looked. I know their devs were outside of their timezone and given the attached screen (took me like 15 min to find both endpoints), they failed in the most basic of senses.

The above is fully avoidable if you just do a simple google search, but apparently that's too hard, or they just didn't know(?); if anyone on the team would have been competent, they would have at least done an IP whitelist on those endpoints, but they did not, you could easily log in and ooperate the website from the first link however I would be weary if you paid for access.
(this is most likely why redditors were able to DDoS them, since once you get around cloudflare you can just flood the base vercel ip until it chokes)

My thoughts on S1, I don't know where I said it, was that the thought of locally hosting entire archives of the show on their website is something that will hurt the wallet for the little benefit it provides most users, and I had hoped that offering S2 archives was a hint they had found some solution to manage costs but given the most recent information, they clearly don't want to pay. (from my point of view at least)

I think they persisted with it a few more times after this point but you're right that it started to peter out from here. It's also this that made me think, they're just trying to eliminate Jimmy, because they never really even proposed any sort of challenge for him to be initiated. The problem with the "initiative group" stuff was that it had no real clear purpose or direction as to what it was intended to do, my suspicion was that it was meant to identify dead fish and get them active in one way or another through forced missions meant to screw with other fish or freeloaders. Jimmy and Trish never once had problems with "initiative" because they were active from basically the moment they came onto the show. Jimmy would do exactly what was asked of him, perhaps to an extreme, such as when asked to seduce Nifty, only for him to slide into bed with her which prompted Ben to storm up the steps and yank him from B2. By the time the attic stuff started Tay was frothing at mouth trying to destroy Nifty any way possible, which kept getting stepped on by Jet so her "initiative" challenge didn't even really make much sense since she was already in an active state. Obviously TJ needed to be prodded into doing anything beyond challenges and that is why they had him be responsible for kicking Taylor. Shinji was hardly doing anything but challenges so it made sense to have him steal the food and I don't really remember what Brian's challenge was.

Ultimately by the time any of the attic shit started the show was already in a rocky state and only three "dead fish" existed, one of which got eliminated almost immediately leaving Shinji and TJ, neither of which ever really displayed much "initiative," just merely going along with the dogpiles that happened.

Honestly I think they were still not at a point in the show where TJ was the favorite so that could've killed TJ, if Brian had allowed it and if Jet didn't pussy out. I was very intrigued by the initiative group ploy, it would've tied nicely into the secret fanboy spy mission. If it had gone according to (what I think was the) plan, we'd be watching a house full of fans turning on each other, every fish committed to the bit because they think they're the special one. Simultaneously, this charade is strung together by a cult mystery to keep a theme and engage the audience with a cult mystery narrative. Makes sense given Jet's history with ARGs.
