If Sam was more cognizant of Fishtank goings-on he'd be aware that Jet reduces the profitability of the show. It's harder to measure but TTS, lack of reaction to keep fishtoys going, lack of sharks, terrible schedule, terrible engagement with audience, etc it adds up. It's impossible to say exactly how much Jet cost the show but he hurt profits which hurts the bottom line.
I don't think he's fired, he needs to be talked to and properly managed and if that happens/happened it's not going to be public.

I could spend too much time bitching about things in your post even when I agree with your overall point, but Jet absolutely deserves zero leniency. None. He consistently fucked up from day 0.

    • Fucked up, very confusing for viewers and contestants
  • Golden Beetle
    • Lazy ploy to get the fish to "do something" that fooled no one
  • Furniture Stealing
    • Jet kept Shinji going and convinced him to do his ninja thing, not that bad
    • Shinji is now tired all day and scolded by Sam for trying to catch sleep when he can. Jet it up!
  • Rice Bucket
    • Failure of a challenge, they can't even keep their own rules together

That's absolutely never happening. Sam doesn't care enough and is just as clueless as Jet is when it comes to the show. Fishtank is a second tier project that serves to help fund the real stuff he's passionate about like world peace 2. As long as it's not horrible and it's making good money Sam could not care less.
 
I don't think it's on Sam necessarily to plan shit or run shit, the host is the host. In most reality shows the host is just a pretty face they give lines to and all he has to do is clearly, fluently introduce concepts to the contestants and contestants, like challenges, rules, and other announcements.

The problem is he's both the wallet, and the host. So there's this horrible dissonant contrast where he comes in and announces things he's paid for, they go wrong, and instead of being able to stand there blithely like "that's fucked up, glad the network has to deal with that and not me" he has to awkwardly explain in detail the L he is taking to the camera.
 
If Sam invests 250k in a project and his retarded wigger employee can't run it yeah it's on him to fix it.

season 2 was extremely boring from the get go and this is as a retard who loved s1 i cant really put a finger on what exactly was wrong with it but it sucked mad dick idc about jet but they need to bring back whatever it was that made it cool the first time

I would say we're probably of the same mind on most things regarding the show, but I think Jet dabbling into playing host because Sam just wasn't stepping up also made him split attention from areas he wasn't very strongly suited to deal with in the first place. I wasn't a Sam Hyde fan but this season and his conduct around it really confirm some of the suspicions I had that he is just an immature rage tard akin to Jimmy, throwing temper tantrums smashing shit and blaming shit on others that is definitely his fault.

Sam was quick to shit on them and call them kids but TJ, Shinji, and Tay all displayed far more introspection and course correction in their short 40 days on the show than Sam in the media I've seen from him. Tay would immediately review actions she took and call it out for what an unmitigated embarrassing disaster it was like the shoe licking or laugh at prior incarnations of herself like the God and Anime video popping up. Shinji was well aware that he would burn out and begin to halfass or abandon stuff when he got frustrated and was trying to correct that portion of himself, TJ noticed that he was surrendering to the worse aspects of the show by fucking with Greg and was able to empathize with people putting in embarrassing or compromising positions during the art critque.

I've never seen Sam willing to go back and just shit on himself in any regard, he always has to be taken seriously and the top dog in any room, and when he feels his authority is challenged he loses his fucking mind and tard rages or just halfasses a projec when it doesn't go well. I saw a video of him talking about Adult Swim after his show was canceled and it was all whining about how the people who worked there are pieces of shit, no introspection that maybe he went a bit too politically incorrect for the advertisers and network to handle. All of his advice stuff is bog standard stuff you could find on /pol/ or any business or mens magazine as well.

Its hilarious what a disaster her stream is this time when she tried running it through streamlabs instead of youtube. For a while it just switched to pure static and then later the audio was desyncing first 10 seconds then up to 30 seconds. Her first was great when run directly through Youtube, I've never interacted with Streamlabs so I couldn't really begin to diagnose what was wrong with her shit. Obviously this won't be much of an issue when she gets a real computer, she said she got something with 64gb of ram and a Nvidia 4070 which should be more than enough for any sort of gaming stream.

There’s this really annoying podcaster/rapper?/clout shark guy on Twitter named Izzy N Griffin who interviewed summer as well running around trying to interview or clout farm off any fish tank clinger on he can. There’s an entire clout eco system that has developed around this shit of people desperate to be connected to Sam in some way.

I saw this earlier, and I'm not sure who on the team has any real form of relationship with Betty. Sam sure as hell doesn't give her the time of day, and it doesn't seem that she really interacts with any of them.

Jet hasn't posted on X in a little while, but that's not confirmation in the slightest, he might be taking a break?
While I'm happy to accept that it is a possibility I can't imagine the person who would know for sure early on would be Betty.

However it should be noted that Jet last posted three days ago, so maybe that shit happened sometime in the last 72 hours(?), so it's possible she heard something.
 
My theory atm is that Sam realized while looking back at the cam recordings for season 2 that there's flat out no easy way to salvage it into an episodic format and in the process also discovered just how much Jet was fucking around and up behind his back costing a ton of investor money in the process, if anything it's the latter that would seal the deal since there is a hilariously incalculable amount of proof of the wiggers fucking up and lying to Sam right to his face afterward.

They’ll find away I’m sure of it. If they were smart they would have saved recordings of each room on a website and charge you like 5 bucks per tank day (they’ll price gouge reasonable would be 1-3).

Betty is a retarded attention seeker so her word means nothing. Jet was allegedly her point of contact for season 1 and that's easy to believe since Sam was visibly repulsed by her and she went to Jet's party at his place which is a decent drive for her.

But has Sam seen that? Did people bother to tie together clips to show Jet was lying to Sam's face? If not, I doubt Sam will ever see that footage and think about it.
