With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

From what I remember of the attack therapy they tried it but it just didn't work out like intended. Ben and Sam would try to grill people but they didn't really react to it at all so it just fell flat. Especially later in the show once people have been through so much shit they were just too burnt out to talk shit.

It's a method to break someone down, there was never going to be time to break someone down and build them up again during S2, there wasn't even enough time to break someone down properly.

I don't know what the Wiggers thought this would lead to, but all attack therapy does is isolate people and break them down.
They only did a few sessions and what it accomplished is, that it increased the dislike and reduced the trust among the fish.
 
I don't think the attack therapy sessions even accomplished reducing trust among the fish tbh. I think it did nothing. The fish were so aware of what was happening during it was basically pointless. The intent was to try and get people to go after another but it just didn't work.

That is really hard to substantiate.
At best it did just foul the mood a tiny bit, at worst it made people keep to themselves more and not seek interaction with others.
In essence it's just a question to what degree it made the show worse.

If someone tells you for 15 min that you are probably a disgusting pervert, that will sour the relationship between you and them.

It's that shit I said again, about trying to germinate exotic arguments but struggling to do it.

One of the other things I skimmed over that I should probably also mention: those kinds of insane arguments that happen on reality TV are super fake too, but they hide that by not being live, and being edited.

They have to walk this tightrope between the fact that everyone can see them setting up a fake-ass argument but people wanting to see super crazy arguments, and them trying to let shit be organic so that the contestants act in an authentic way.

They're just trying to put out hitpieces to shame them and rile up townsfolk it seems like mostly, the chicken one they did was the closest to reality but still came across as embellished from them being fed info. That's not to say that the crew did completely right by the chickens but there is an agenda behind every publication they've done in regards to FT.

It didn't do anything but waste time, it was just performative insults and questioning of the motives of others by the cast. What caused the trust implosion was Danye starting his shit against Trish during The Cell when everyone was at peak frustration, irritable from the sand, heat and literal fucking shit smell. Even then TJ, Jimmy, and Tay just shouted over Danye for a few minutes just to stop Danye from fucking with Trish.

That night Britney arrived and Tayleigh immediately noticed her fumbling her backstory by introducing herself by the wrong name, fucking up her accent and alternating between some "uwu i'm just a hapless country girl who likes baking cookies" facade and a "mean girl" personality. She tells TJ to stay away from Britney since she felt he was particularly susceptiable to a female freeloader love bombing him right after Taylor left, and then pointed out the inconsistency to Jimmy who went fully into a paranoid state because he started noticing the same inconsistencies Tayleigh was observing. Jimmy started obsessing over Britney as a threat.


Eventually Trish and Britney team up and just wombo-combo him into a tard rage then try following up by fucking with Tay only to get socked in the jaw. Absolutely none of this had anything to do with the attack therapy, attic visits, or cult shit, it was all the fish and their personalities colliding with each other and hitting a breaking point. Every single thing Sam and Jet planned was useless and just got in the way of the cast just being themselves. The season was strongest when the production crew was just coming through with challenges for cash or chip prizes and letting the fish be themselves because as I've posted before, the cast was really was the strongest feature of the season and its only when there was just a few of them left that the season started exposing how weak the production side of the show really was.

Lol I don't think anyone actually did go after her, there were just some memes and shitposts on /tv/ about Jeanne, the previous owner.

Vance stream. Q&A section in the back end. Nothing particularly shocking. Said he doesn't sleep well normally so getting 6 hours of sleep was fine. The Soy Tax was his idea. His favorite freeloader was Abi because he and Abi talked the most, apparently. Forgets completely that any freeloader came on the show besides Abi, Duany'ay, and Oliver and has to be reminded about the rest so maybe that clarifies his stance, says everything Greg did was perfect. Particularly enjoyed filming Oliver, from a few steps away, while "Oliver Gay" was playing through the speakers, and watching his blank face. Tayleigh, Greg, and Jimmy come through his chat, people read into Vance not reacting to Jimmy until he says he didn't know "pingasbomb" was Jimmy and says Jimmy's a legend. Says despite always being present during fights he was never "scared" about the fighting.

A lot of people post "vance wept" memes and Vance laughs while reading chat as it's happening, and then says he can't read aloud what he is reading but it's very funny.
 
The image of Vance sobbing in the basement while Sumer comforts him is so amazing I wish someone would do a drawing of it.

Youtube does a stupid thing where it only shows the display name, not the true username in chat so there was 3-4 fake Tayleighs that came through. I'm not even sure if it was even Jimmy that was there as well. There seems to be a lot of trolls just trying to get the fish to feud with each other with fake donations and shit but none of them are willing to buy into it. The other day someone was impersonating Jimmy and sending sperg donations to Trish.
