With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

I nabbed Sylvia's Chis painting. I really thought the price was gonna skyrocket on all the listings last minute but almost everything stayed a reasonable price imo.

I've got a wall with a bunch of weird framed stuff. it'll go really well there until season 2 finishes up and drives the price of the collectors stuff way up.

Some people buy stocks or real estate, I buy weird Internet stuff. All of it can be profitable



I actually justified the price by using my Silver savings to pay for it. Because the price of the painting will appreciate significantly faster than the silver.


Anyone who's purchased original art from someone who isn't just an amateur local artist would know that $300 for an original piece is a good price.

That sound is terrifying. It's like on the same tier as the Metal Gear Solid exclamation mark sound, it scares me. I did not like that sound... could have used any other sound. That one was terrifying, I'd hate that, that'd be horrible.

Josie, you said your parents were watching the Tank the whole time, what challenge or event freaked them out the most?

Hey Josie, who have you been keeping contact the most with since the end of Fishtank, including contestants and staff? So glad you won.
Um... the people... I'm really bad at texting people and talking to people... but I have been interacting in Vance's streams a lot. I like talking through the air to them cuz I'm scared to text people. Uh... I haven't really texted anyone else, I only really text Jet for help when I need it 'n like... setting up my stream and advice 'n shit. That's about it!

Um... there was never really a low point. I recovered immediately and I feel like I recovered easiest. Everybody talkin' 'bout having nightmares, I ain't never had a nightmare- I ain't never had a Fishtank nightmare afterwards. You guys are silly.
So yes, nothing really- nothing really effected me, I'm just living life normally again.
I guess... "In what ways so far did being on the show change your life?" WELLLLL it changed my life a lot, you see. Because... I guess.. how would I say it changed my life? I have a lot more friends! That's pretty epic!

Um.. what else... erm... it has brought forth many opportunities for me that I'm very thankful for... um... what else, what else, what else was there? Um.. Oh yes, it's kinda wacky, I haven't adjusted... The first day I came back, I was visiting my friends and they were driving me back home and I was thinking, "Damn! Why am I having fun right now? I need to- I need to go get a job." Like, I thought for a second, "Like.. damn I'm really unemployed right now, I need to go get a job what am I doing right now? I can't be enjoying life when I don't have a job," and then I realized, "Wait I technically do have a job kind of... it's like streaming now, right?" and I was like... I don't know.. my brain can't comprehend that streaming is a job yet. So... I don't know... I feel a lil' unemployed, but I'm thinking maybe if I get on a better streaming schedule I'll start to feel employed. But I think that's pretty cool, I guess it's like your job doesn't even feel like a job. That's epic.

It feels wacky being back home. Uh.. I've just been really busy and I'm gonna leave soon... to do some- something else. But I mean.. I have a lot to do. I have a lot of work- there's a lot of work that needs to be done and all my friends wanna hang out with me and it's like... hold up! There's a lot goin on right now.
But yeah, being back home just feels busy.. I'm a lot more busy now.


How far were you willing to go with Chris to win the "Gross Challenge," were any of the holes off limits?
Uh yeah... the belly button was kinda it because the way I see it, would you lick someone's belly button for $35,000? That's kinda how I was looking at it and I felt like if I didn't do it, I'd probably hate myself forever if I let a belly button get in the way of me and $35,000, y'know?

I don't think that's gonna happen, I have a very small but close friend circle, so I think it's all good. And my family is pretty epic so... they're not stealing my money I don't think. Maybe I should check my bank account, maybe my mom has been siphoning out all of my dollars right from under my nose! Right from under my nose and I didn't even know! Maybe- maybe I didn't even know! Maybe I should be scared!

Josie isn't making a crazy amount if you don't include "theman" donations. Some people are definitely giving her more money than they can afford. Steinful, one who asked for mod, said he can't donate a lot again until he gets paid next month.
Steinful is also the one who said he was "screwed out of 25k" so I'm going to wager he's terrible with money and will wring himself dry over her.

Josie is still in the honeymoon phase of all of this, once the excitement wears off for her and the viewers then I think it'll start to come to an end. She needs to plan for what to do after streaming if she doesn't want to work fast food again.

Update: Speaking of Josie...
She has a collab stream tonight with Ghetto Smosh. At a glance they seem like the zoomer trash she'd be into.
Zero social media promotion for it, normally she tweets it out.

What a weird collab because just last night Ghetto Smosh posted a webm of Drake dancing with a bunch of text about Sam being a pedophile and the Marky shit. They deleted it later though.

Vance also suggested he might stream today as his ideal schedule is Sunday Wednesday and Friday.

His drum stream yesterday was highly OK, he delayed it because his setup wasn't right on Wednesday and it wasn't really right on Thursday either. I've watched similar streams before and he had some pretty glaring issues but he was aware of them, it's not like he was like "Yeah bro, it's really great that I have to stop drumming and bend my head 180 degrees to read the chat, it's perfect that I have to suck my own dick to talk into the drum mic so people can hear me, that's how I like it, fuck off." It did impact the whole, everything of it though, so it's not like I can give him a pass.

Vance is also really fixed on this plan of taking suggestions from the chat, typing them into YouTube, and trying to imitate what the drum part of a song is. He is a good drummer, he is not a bad drummer, but the format makes him seem like he sucks ass because he's trying to learn something in 10 seconds and can't play for longer than 40 seconds straight without getting confused. I don't think it would be crazy if he just said, okay, song suggestions are donation only, otherwise I will play what I know how to play, and you will shut up and enjoy it. Right?

Most of it obviously coming from her simp whale but still....

The one she made $6k on was her first solo stream.

I think she's playing it up to be more than it was since she didn't mention whippits until money.goblin/chip posted his IG story showing the canisters and people honed in on it. Josie surely killed a good fraction of her brain while in Rhode Island but it wasn't all whippits.

Vance was not a particularly interesting guest (who is surprised) but Tyson was just

They barely hovered at around 100 viewers the whole time and I swear to you it's criminal.
Definitely a recommended watch, just for the dumb things he does. Especially when Vance is talking he seemed to take it upon himself to make Vance interesting by becoming an atrocity.

  • He's got a girlfriend, so, even though it was a meme, the Letty ship is dead lmao.
  • Tyson said the night of DPOS was one of the best nights of his life
  • He also said that during the dating challenge, after he was super cringe with Letty and Jet took him aside and asked him if he was bombing on purpose and he said he was... he was not, he was just bombing, lol. (In case you forgot he said his best pickup line was "Did you fall" and his worst was "What's the difference between Australians and Canadians, Australians are all about down under and Canadians are all about being cold - there's no punchline.")
  • When Letty was "teaching him" how to do a Vancepill he made eye contact with Letty for the first time and thought her eyes were just the result of her being all fucked up from being in the tank.
  • (This is an @Aristides-ass note, but Tyson seemed totally comfortable to keep rambling about the things he did with Letty, and Vance interrupted him to do a Rainier bit which seemed... if not deliberate then subconsciously bratty lol. Also for Aristides: the Therapy Gecko thing is confirmed to be a bit that Vance started just to promote his channel via drama, lol. So I told you so.)
  • Tyson had planned, if Frank had stuck around longer, to teach Vance to act like himself so they would both come at Frank as two crazy Australian guys.
  • Tyson pitched Vance the idea that during season 2 they should come back and box one round a day in the tank, breaking things in the process and then leaving. And that they would come to the tank with lots of hair and slowly shave it in horrible, matching ways.

Letty actually appeared in the chat this time (Letty Wizardluvv), which is the first time I think any of us have seen her do that.
