I don't understand why Samson Hydestein is so against restreaming. Doesn't it help them save money on broadcasting or am I missing something?

Maybe they have a viewer or account count they're trying to meet and restreaming takes eyes off of the site. I think he'll eventually only have the entire fishtank open only to paying customers and chat is just the beginning.

I'm using this currently. Have to manually refresh every hour or so, but it is one click on the main site and then open in MPV. Requires tampermonkey to use though, then you manually create a new script then save it.

Going to add my 2 cents on this entire situation as a big MDE and Fishtank fan.

The Simmonds situation was handled absolutely awfully, in fact, it really reminds me of the Creator Clash 2 drama with Froggy Fresh. I get it, the book and the Instagram stuff is really strange, but everyone is treating him as if he's a normal, adjusted person. The guy is pretty clearly super autistic and doesn't seem to know why what he wrote comes across as weird to normal people. Besides all this, the same allegations can be thrown right back at Sam with the Marky stuff.

What is the show even meant to be now anyways? No bullying over TTS? Then it's not a hellhouse. No cameras while the contestants have an R&R Pizza Party? Then it's not an autistic friend simulator. It really riles me up because this is such a good idea, but it's been severely mismanaged.

The final straw for me was that the contestants where allowed to have their phones again during the downtime. We heard them saying that they'll purposefully be hamming it up for the cameras, and that there's only 4 actual contestants. What was promised has has not been delivered and I'm really disappointed. I feel cheated, especially after paying for the pass. I'll be opening a dispute with my bank tomorrow in an attempt to get my money back.

This thread is very popular, but I feel like a lot of people are here to try and catch up, and this thread is horrible for that.
