I'm a fan of MDE and I'm looking forward to WP2 but ngl I'm finding it really hard to like Sam over this. This is undeniably scummy and I don't know how his fans are gonna try and defend it.

Sams not doing that intentionally to rip off paypigs, you understand right? He's probably screaming down the phone at his tech guy to get the paypig season pass accounts working.
There was a stream from the basement a few days ago where someone asked to be unmuted (or equivalent) and he said his tech guys were working on delivering coins to those who'd paid and hadnt received as a priority (a relatively uncommon tech complaint at the time), it was taking so long because 10x the expected viewer numbers meant 10x the number of things going wrong with payments and account tokens.
He might act a fool but he knows which side his bread is buttered on and would much rather customers have the products/perks they've paid for than not deliver. The setup is amateurish but he's not trying to con anyone, just extract money from josiesimps.
