With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I think the best analogy for Jon is "dumb kid brother". Sometimes you want to beat the living fuck out of him for being a retarded little shit, but at the end of the day, you still love him and find him endearing.

This just makes me remember how Sam told everyone how he knew they all had secrets. They must all assume he knew about the book, so how bad is everyone else's secret? Jet told them nothing like that would happen during a normal elimination, but after seeing that it's understandable everyone is fucked up. It's like in those murder mysteries when the first body is discovered and the reality of the situation sets in. Good on them for booting simmons, but I'm positive they're all trying to think of the worst thing they've ever done and if it'll come out on camera. I wonder how fishtank will continue with the same mood from before.

the "just kidding" makes the difference if it'd mattered, but, even without, the atmosphere isn't tense, nobody's particularly on their toes and Sam's in a goofy suit being bigger than life
Sam's been working himself up with the Simmons deets and is sending death rays his way for sure, but it's a matter of picking up the rays in the situation

comparatively, kicking someone off is not so fun, there's no inb4 or follow up to the racially charged send-off to take the bite out of it, and Sam's dressed like he's about to bash some fags or mail some bombs - so all things register as more severe

I wonder if it's really that. They could be preparing for a shitstorm and battening down the hatches.

Honestly, this would make a really interesting show, but I can't believe its that deep.

I am pretty sure that was just Sam fucking around and spreading distrust.
 
These off-camera conversations are gay. We came to watch explicity because everything would be recorded/live. Jet fucks up(again) and now we can't see their conversation?
