With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Sixth Fish to Arrive is Cole. He doesn’t look like a troon. Accompanying him is Vance, who has fully embraced his balding.

  • Cole tells the other fish that JC is in the basement, and tells the other fish her age. The other fish are confused as to how she’ll be able to partake in the bar activities since she’s so young.
  • He looks outside and immediately averts his eyes to avoid elimination. He also mentions he works in construction.
  • Trish says that they’ve been finding keys and hidden numbers all around the house. This results in Cole going full detective mode.
  • Cole reveals that the contract said there would be an outside area, he assumes it’s the doghouse room.
  • Cole is the only one who can actually cook and he continues to talk to himself in the kitchen while checking literally every cabinet like a schizo. He has checked every cabinet with a flashlight and found a note behind the fridge.
  • Apparently he was looking for clues in the cabinets and he found multiple. He brought them into the living room for the other fish to analyze.
  • Cole looked at a box and loudly stated, “Oh I’m not supposed to look at that.” Most likely tampons since he was in the girl’s room.
  • Detective kino is over for now, but the case hasn’t ended.

7th Fish to arrive is JC.


  • She immediately asks everyone’s ages. She’s Chinese, as opposed to the Japanese Shinji. Possible rivalry???
  • JC decides to move into the green room and apologizes to the other fish in case they have to “live with her.”
  • Cole asks Shinji to tell him about Japan and says he’s never met a Japanese person before. Sounds like a literal dialogue tree.
  • Fish have been sitting in the living room while Jet comes in and gives them clothes one at a time. The fish question life without electronics, including life without music. Apperently the crew said no music whatsoever.
  • During the conversation TJ continues to stim and plays with the toy in the middle of the room similar to Josie in season 1.
  • Cole and JC have a brief conversation while they put their clothes away in bedroom 3. Other fish are downstairs chatting it up in the living room
  • FOR THE SECOND TIME JET BRINGS IN PIZZA WITHOUT COVERING THE LOGOS
  • House was doxed within minutes on the /tv/ thread. Brilliant work Jet.
  • Detective Cole goes back on the case searching the living room for shit while the girls talk in b2.


Frank is out. Megan is delayed.

I'm bored right now but once things start to heat up there's a lot of potential.

Every time a fish has entered the tank they INSTANTLY start opening cabinets and shit. It's very clear they've been told to look for something. There's also been a code and keys, meanwhile they staff haven't stopped them.

We spent the first half of the last season thinking everything was fake. Exactly one contestant was. It's best to just relax and enjoy the ride.
