All three of them are chatting streamers. All three of them sit in their desktop (yes, I know Josie sometimes streams from other places, no need to tell me), talk to the cam, read chat, react to videos, play games, acknowledge donos, etc... The value you get from the stream depends almost entirely on how much you like the streamer. That's it. If Letty's streams are 90%+ her talking about bullshit you don't care about and the other two's are not, it's because you don't like Letty that much, which is fine. Just don't think that you're being objective.

My point was that out of Josie, Sylvia and Letty, Letty put the least effort into her streams and it showed. Conversely, Josie and Sylvia have put in work and it shows.

Plus, you gotta be honest. You don't watch Sylvia's solo streams. No one does.

Not actively but I've seen some and she's gotten a few laughs out of me. I respect her hustle. Unlike Letty, Sylvia will try to get people on with mutual benefit.

After watching a half dozen people try to get into streaming at the same time, I can break it into phases.

Phase 1: Learning consistency, low effort because they don't know what to put effort into. Literally turn the webcam on and start talking. I'm pretty sure every single one of them did this for at least 3 streams. These are obviously all kinda bad and every single person has described this phase as being very difficult. Sylvia said she would throw up before streaming and Vance said he wasn't sure he was going to keep going.

Phase 2: Experimenting. Vance was the most obvious with this, he tried a million different things before, 22 streams in, he landed on the prank call idea. Sylvia's deleted a bunch of her streams but it took her about 20 random stream ideas before she had her first round of guests. Josie tried doing Let's Plays early on and having guests and now doesn't.

Phase 3: Effort. Now understanding what to put time into and actually excited and having fun with the concept, preparing extensively before each stream. Lance tried to skip all the way to this step and I think it burnt him out because he didn't go through the process of figuring out what to put time into. It was awesome to watch but not sustainable.

The problem with Letty is she got into Phase 1, stopped, started again in Phase 1, stopped, started again... I think the only way to get through Phase 1 is to be consistent. Otherwise she's forgetting how to stream over and over and not learning what's working and what she likes to do. Her main problem is motivation and consistency.

He hasn't seen any of the episodes since his elimination. He opened episode 7 and clicked through it with the video paused muttering "Did anything good happen in this one?" Then said "You guys are gay if you're on here 24/7" in the website chat.

I think there's something deep to be said here, about this kind of praise.
