I completely forgot Fatty not only showed toilet paper with his shit on it but he dipped his full hand into a solo cup of his diarrhea for the camera. My honest opinion is that something started brewing between Vance and Letty after a while, and it culminated during the Menace Challenge stare down in Bedroom 2, and they both know it. Letty has teased Vance a few times on stream, making fun of him for backing down from Frank and for not talking about her until Frank pressed him on it on his own stream lol.

I could see this being the case. I mean, on day 1 she tried snuggling up to him on the couch... they would always sleep in the same room and talk for hours... and they were continuously paired up for romantic situations as a means to troll Vance. Could be some mental gymnastics on his part to overcorrect and prove there was nothing brewing the whole time. Kind of reminds me of when Jon came back and had a vendetta against Letty even though they were clearly very close before.

If they went a few days without catching up they would rush to review their feelings about everything that had happened in the meantime, he told her she has natural drumming talent, that he thinks she can pull herself out of her rut, she confided about the drug addiction that caused her to drop out of high school and he told her about his "violent past" (he's never explained it fully so it could've been crap but he said he used to be much more aggressive), he talked about meeting his girlfriend and what it's like to have a soulmate, and how it felt performing onstage for the first time, they wrote up Spotify playlists by hand and promised to send each other more when they got out of the tank...

Precisely what I'm talking about. Those two were very close, whether they want to admit or not. I don't buy Vance's attempts to downplay it. We never got a fraction of the depth from other fish as we got from Letty and Vance's conversations. Whenever they shared a bedroom I would make a point to watch that room specifically at night, because they'd let their guard down and be real for a few hours. I always rooted for both of them because they seemed to be the only ones actually PLAYING on a deeper level like you'd see on Big Brother or something, but at the end of the day they would talk to each other like normal people without an agenda. It was cool to see them have such an understanding of each other despite being "enemies."

I like Vance overall but the Letty thing is just so bizarre. There must be something that happened behind the scenes. I would guess he felt himself getting too close to her and then overcorrected once he got home and back to reality. I remember seeing a lot of posts about the chemistry between them. It's not farfetched to think he saw this rhetoric for himself and wanted to make an extreme gesture to prove that nothing was brewing between them the whole time. If his GF was jealous too then I would think it's even more accurate that he would do this to appease her.

It's easier to believe he was flagellating himself for catching feelings than performing this much pointless friendship for "strategy" purposes especially when she still fucked him over with the weight on his leg anyway.

This seems like the most likely theory imo. I've been in a situation like his with a girl waiting for me at home but I'm stuck in a hellhole for a few months and my only distractions were work and hanging out with coworkers. The feelings get pretty intense after a few weeks when the camaraderie kicks in and people start spilling their life stories to each other. Maybe he's the kind of guy that can't be just friends with a girl he likes, so he needs to hate her instead so he doesn't do something stupid and ruin his existing relationship

That's believable. I remember a couple times she called him out for always laughing whenever she did anything and it would make sense why he was both only willing to fuck with Letty but also completely halfhearted about it.
He did say just after the show ended that if he could play the whole thing over he would have been meaner to Letty, I think that's just how tangled he is to think struggling wouldn't tangle him worse.

She looks great, I won't lie. If he had to distance himself from Letty to avoid fumbling this girl then I get it. I'm still selfishly disappointed that we might not ever get more Letty/Vance content, though. He also could have just ghosted her without making a public display of it.

What was so good was even from the first time they did it you could tell Vance was resisting it but Letty knew how to crack him open. His whole plan was to let her overshare and give as little information as possible. From the very start the conversation he dreamed of having was:
"What do you think of Jon?"
"I think he's very popular and he's going to be good in challenges but he's not very stable so I don't know how long he will last. Also the producers said the audience is shipping us. What do you think about him, Vance?"
"I think he's cool."
"Awesome conversation Vance, I don't feel scammed at all!"

but she knew how to counter it and gently pick at him until she found things he wanted to vent about, until all at once he's all "Jon is getting on my last fucking nerve! I hate it when people are loud and throwing things and breaking things! I'm so mad! You couldn't tell I was mad? I was furious!!" venting like a west coast man. Nobody else would pry because they would probably come off as rude, but she knew how to pry while really just trying to hear him out. Even on a day when he was standing still as a rock for hours she would come through and suddenly he would reveal that he was harboring emotional takes about everything he had seen. And then as soon as they broke off he'd turn to the camera and go "hahaha, I got her!" as though he didn't just give as much as he received.

That's why I'm pretty disappointed they don't talk now. He's a reliable little comedy motor but she threw him off balance and made him funnier.

If we're being faggots and shipping them I'll add this: I bet his GF mommies him and doesn't push him and that's why he's so emotionally constipated. He's living on emotional oatmeal. Letty is cracked but she has flavor.

I was thinking the same thing. Vance's gf seems like a nice but otherwise unremarkable, dry, college-educated girl from Washington state. She's a safe bet, I guess you could say. She strikes me as the type to want to throw a Frasier-themed Thanksgiving because the show just got renewed on Netflix, or refuse to have kids and instead be a fur parent to three yorkies and a Persian cat.

Letty on the other hand has real fire in her, is genuinely smart and funny, but also has an edge to her. She's kind of trad while also having enough bad girl energy to be interesting.

Letty is a natural on stream and can banter better than any woman in comedy i've ever seen. She even knows all the right shit to say to pander to paypigs, why the fuck didn't she become a streamer a decade ago? she could easily have been more successful than pokimane or shoe. She's the perfect presenter, no matter what Charls threw at her she was able to keep up. This hoe would rather fold clothes for minimum wage than make hundreds a day just sitting in front of a computer screen. Letty has one of the best personalities i've seen on a woman.
