This isn't a question of real politics, it's a game of "Would you rather".
 
The biggest loser tonight is O'Rourke. Even the other 9 lousy candidates knew he was a wimp and cut him off and mocked him all night. Plus, he's going to get roasted for his cheesy Spanish language pandering. The moderators said Castro was the only Hispanic candidate of the night, too, that's gotta sting for a guy who was Yo Quiero Taco Bell all fuckin' night.

Policy over person. You could apply this to a whole bunch of politicians, both left and right. Trump is a dick, but a lot of people like him because of his policies, which are a whole lot better than what the last 3 presidents have offered, especially considering he outlined them in several books.

Same with Clinton. Pretty unpopular, but people were suckered in by...whatever she had to offer.

I'm absolutely baffled that the only time someone gives a shit about women making up rape stories, is because it's a dig at Trump.

Fun fact- a shitload of places discriminate against blacks. It's a sad fact, no matter how non-racist you are, that when apartment complexes take on a lot of black tenants- it goes to absolute shit and white people book it, bringing the value down. Blame it on black behavior or blame it on white racism, doesn't change the end result.

Everything else is "orange man mean".

And when it comes to "division and turmoil", I'll accept your condemnation of Trump when you outright demand that more than a few of our Universities need to be completely purged of administrators who do the same. Not to mention Hollywood, etc.

Because after all, Trump made people mad. But he didn't fucking riot. If he's responsible for that behavior, then let's go ahead and accept the fact that the left wing is not capable of controlling their behavior and are therefore a lesser tier of person- and therefore should not enjoy the same rights and freedoms as those who can tolerate an elected official they dislike without going ape-shit.

He was talking about people "in the trans community" or something like that and was probably referring to transmen who would still get pregnant, but I'm amazed going in that direction made it through his staff.

Absolutely. I 100% agree with you.

Best case scenario, nothing I have noticed drastically changed under Trump. Feels the same as if Obama was president, only stuff with his name just wiped from policies.

The only reason I haven't sperged out about politics in my real life because 1) I'm new at this. 2) A chunk of people I know and respect are right leaning. And 3) I just don't want to be used as pandering for political gain because of my race.
 
As I expected they learned nothing from getting their asses beat in 2016 and are repeating and doubling down on the same garbage that caused them to lose last time.

Trump is going to slaughter them.
 
A guy was asked why he didn't want the current president to be president anymore and one of the reasons is "rampant Twitter behavior." It wasn't something about skyrocketing crime, or the economy in the toilet, or another stupid war started, he doesn't like the President's banter on the internet.

This is what people mean by Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Pick an apartment complex, enjoy the proof.

I say 'discriminate', but they legally can't. So they'll keep the prices higher than the norm. Maybe establish some ridiculous criteria that dissuades blacks.

A guy near where I live owns apartments and two bars. He doesn't like 'ghetto hoodlums' in either of them. So he has all sorts of restrictive rules that make the apartments seem like a place where the average young black person wouldn't want to live. Dress code at his bar does the same.

Yeah, this keeps out all types of trash. But it's just a common thing- you start getting a shitload of black people to move into a residential area, and you start seeing the white people go on an Exodus. FFS, in Georgia if you were white and didn't want to live in a ghetto-ized apartment, you were paying about 2 grand a month for a small 2-bedroom on the outskirts of the cities.
