honestly Ferdinand is just a solid overall character so a dodgetank dancer build would be pretty decent on non-maddening.

All I know is that Chiki is a notorious sperg. Another sorta unknown FE fanbase sperg is fucking Inui.

if you look at Mekkah's videos on "FE DEBATES" and memory lane shit, you'll notice Inui's name pop up a ton. It's the same guy. There's not a lot of ways to outright prove it unless you go digging up old fanbase members and maybe they remember.

Oh yeah, I know about him through Mekkah. I remember when there was a time when people thought that Jeigans were bad or something. Opinions back then were pretty wild.

I don't see the point in gender-segregated classes. Do they really add anything to the gameplay?

Not too long ago I beat chapter 4 Death Knight on Maddening, and it honestly felt pretty hollow that my only reward is a crummy promotion seal that I'll never use.

In more casual circles, especially ones who barely talk to other Fire Emblem players, people still think Jeigans suck because people think way too hard about growth rates. Like some people refuse to use Volug in Radiant Dawn and will suffer to use trash like Leonardo or Edward (without good rng Edward sucks especially in hard mode). Some people still argue about units like Amelia, Donnel, and Nino being really good because of stat caps/growth rates or whatever. The only game I can think of where stat caps really really matter is Radiant Dawn, because hitting cap is so easy and speed caps are really low in Radiant Dawn for some units types like Paladins or Mages being basically unable to double anything besides armors at endgame.

it is more like people heard Jeigans were bad back from the ol' FE7 Marcus Vets as that was common internet knowledge back then that got changed as optimization was pushed more but these people likely didn't pay attention to that conversation. then when people first played Awakening they saw Frederic and figured "Oh this guy is like that Jeigan/Marcus guy I heard about, so he must not be good after the early game!". Which isn't that wrong for Awakening because Chrobin spam is the best way to play Awakening more or less without grinding, although Frederic is super important for early sections of lunatic and especially lunatic+. I love how whenever people talk about Jeigans being bad, most people ignore Seth who is almost as good as endgame Franz just he is about 20 levels ahead of him immediately.

3 houses maddening shows why Jeigans are so important to Fire Emblem's gameplay, if we had someone like Jeralt Maddening wouldn't be so annoying to deal with.

tl;dr of Ghast is "I didn't reach out to Mangs because Goose said not to and I knew Mangs would deny everything anyway." followed by "Mangs' apology sucks he doesn't fully realize what he did so fuck him." then a couple half assed "Yeah the whole discord op was badly handled and good for you getting therapy." statements at the end to seem reasonable. Ghast still hates his guts.

Yeah, I watched the video about an hour after he uploaded it. I was hoping this would be enough for someone to make a thread, but I suppose this was inevitable.

Whether or not he's aware of it or intended it, there were parts of the video that was emotionally manipulative. Not as bad as a lot of Youtube apology videos but also not that great. Personally I think he's a little more than a creepy re.tarded coomer and a month of therapy isn't enough to fix someone. Plus therapy is complete dogshit if you're not willing to put in the effort to change, at least from my experience.

Don't get me wrong, most people involved in this situation are complete tards and most likely aren't in any position to be some moral crusader. Funny thing is, if people didn't spaz out over Indie's allegation, Mangs wouldn't have spent a chunk of his video dunking on people.

Yeah the vid is pretty mediocre and quite manipulative . The video is pretty cliche with the muh depression,I saved fans life with my letsplays,the attempt to make it look like he improvised the video and the sight before the video start+ the red eyes.

I think that in the end Mangs will recover and still be by a large margin the biggest fetuber (aka the tallest midget).
The core audience doen't even know Goose nor care.
He will kinda survive just like Projared did and I guess ZeRo is taking notes because he will most likely come back soon too.

The whole thing is pretty gay and uninteresting but I tend to forgive Mangs because:

-It's not suprising coming from him.
-He just lost his income.
-He just doesn't seem to understand anything about dating/flirting.
-I am always lenient with stupid peoples.


Anyway how's your fe8 randomised run going?

Byleth as a Jeigan stand-in isn't good enough, he is more like Ephriam in FE8 or a better Nolan from FE10 where his stats are solid for his join time compared to everyone else but not "I can carry this" good enough. I know you said he isn't good at that role, but I wanted to make it clear why I ignored him when pointing out the lack of Jeigans. He felt more like having a solid lord at the early game, same with the house leader, then anything else

Shamir is decent, but she comes a little too late as the Miklan tower is already over by the time you get her and her speed and bulk is a little too low for her to truly carry. She is more like a solid prepromote that would typically show up around mid game to help you out if you're somehow struggling like with an Iron man run.

Catherine is possible to get by chapter 5, but you have to really go out of your way to make that happen that I don't count that personally and getting her by chapter 2 (the other really shit chapter in maddening early game) is impossible.

Like this is my favorite series and even I don’t know what’s going on. Also Jeagans are the only reason some people survive the bullshit difficulties (Sothe, Titania, and Frederick all come to mind. Especially Frederick) so it would’ve been cool to be able to save Jeralt if your support with someone (either the main lord/Leonie) was high enough like Fates did with Kaze.

Just some dumb youtuber shit, best not get involved because as usual everyone is a tard.

Sothe is especially important even for a more casual run of RD on lower difficulties because the Dawn Brigade is so shit that they always need help somewhere, that game would be the biggest pain in the ass without Sothe and his wolf sidekick Volug. In other games I felt if you played really carefully on lower difficulties you can work around very limited use of your Jeigans, but Sothe feels basically required to have any kind of fun in early game RD unless you count no weapon AI abuse cheese with him I suppose.

I know this sounds kinda horrible, but you could toss in him sharing his suicide story. I don't doubt that he attempted or tried to and I'm glad there were people out there to help him, but I feel that stuff is in the same vein as trying to make himself the victim or to look better. Calling him the tallest midget is pretty apt though lol. Not going to watch him again but to each their own.

So far I'm in chapter 3 and nothing too interesting happened. I spent a lot of time finding a seed that seemed interesting and the one I'm using now is NyNA.
-Eirika is a troubadour. She came in with a recover staff and I'm not sure if I should conserve too much since I don't have that many staves. I know recover isn't that amazing but it would be nice to have with me. I really want her promoted since she has galeforce.
-Seth is a hero. Nothing too special. He has breath of life and paragon which is pretty nice. He also got tomefaire but that's a completely dead skill for him.
-Franz is an eyeball.
-Gilliam "randomized" into an armor knight lol.
-Vanessa is an archer. Kinda hurts to see since I liked her a lot in vanilla.
-Moulder is Eirika. He's pretty solid and I think I'll use him long term. He also got wrath.
-Garcia is a pirate. I don't like Garcia that much in vanilla or in this randomizer so he's probably going to be just a shove bot.
-Ross is a dancer.
-Neimi is a bonewalker archer.
-Colm is the same since I didn't randomized thieves.

Yeah I'm not ashamed to admit I used Black Knight when he was available just for the sheer idea he was playable (before he was added to Heroes, which I got him and his true form.)

Black Knight is really cool, but you don't really need him by the time you get him he is more like a big fan service character. Nailah is also better imo because she moves much further due to being a laguz which makes ending the chapter faster.

Chapter 4 for example, the jailbreak one, would be atrocious without Sothe around. Edward is too shit at tanking and doubling without favorable level ups, Leonardo does no damage, Miccy gets one tapped by almost everything, Nolan's steel axe is too heavy for him and you can't give him another axe yet, so without Sothe this chapter would be total ass.

Mangs isn't entirely a good person, neither is Chaz or the people that victim-blamed Indie. I know people tend to chalk up Mangs as just being a dumb coomer, but people do genuinely take issues with his behavior outside of him having edgy cringe humor. A lot of them didn't even know Mangs until this shitfest happened. Now if we're talking about just the fetubers that continued to work with him who likely knew the ongoings of AnimeNorth, yeah I don't think these people have a leg to stand on.

So something that isn't e-celeb related, I'm now in chapter 5 and I just realized that Seth has 28 skill and that I had a master seal. I guess that's what happens when you're too lazy to check inventory and whatnot. I hope I don't need to worry too much about getting a Lunar Brace for Moulder.
-Artur is a myrmidon with similar stats to Moulder. I guess I failed to mention that Moulder is a glass cannon who has 3 defense and no luck. Artur ended up with warding blow even though has no res to back him up.
-Lute and Natasha are Tarvos. They have a high HP pool which is refreshing to see considering most people in my group are made of wet tissue paper.
-L'arachel is a male priest, Dozla is a three-headed doggo, and Rennac is obviously unrandomized. I don't know if these are finalized or if they get re-randomized.
