Eh, disappointing they're cynically going back to 3H's world on one hand, on the other I'm glad they seem to be course-correcting from Engage. Maybe they'll give 3H's world better gameplay this time around, the setting at least was more realized than most FE worlds.
 
I don’t mind it being set in 3H universe but idk just looked kinda like slop and gameplay looked more like ff tactics type than fe. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Not excited for it.

I'll withhold too much judgment I guess because I wasn't very excited for Engage based off of the trailer and ended up getting a lot of enjoyment out of the gameplay. It's still painful to look at, though.

I want to point out in the trailer there is a character spotted with a gun shoots a sort of magic lightning.

Could this imply that there may be classes that use magical guns?

I plan to make an effort post documenting the stuff from the trailer, but I thought it was notable to share this first.

The very first thing when I saw this shot was motherfucking Valkyria Chronicles .. wasn’t the 2nd game all high school uniforms shit on one of the covers????

I wonder if this game will explore the origins of the CIA niggers AKA Those Who Slither in the Dark when times were good. Because in 3H they have all those technologies beyond the current era, fucking warheads and that damn OST in their underground modern city… i was surprised none of them pulled a sniper rifle at one point.
 
Engage flopped so they had to go to back to ole reliable. I know its been 10 years since the last game with pair ups, but I still wish they brought it back :(
 
For the first ten seconds, I was excited for the Roman aesthetic.

Then I realized literally no one looked or acted like they belonged to a Roman or fantasy analogue culture, except for the gladiator thing. The one guy looks like a knight from the late middle ages, half of them are dressed like tribals, and I don't even fucking know what the rest are going for.
 
I'm totally ok with the return to 3H. After seeing how boring Engage's world was I think they should probably revisit the old settings instead of trying to make something new at least for the time being.
