If Switch 2 does well then 2025 is its last year big year, but either way there will be some trickling content into 2026. Pokemon & Kirby spinoffs or HD remasters probably.

Oh, I know, I know. I'm dinglecherry-picking. Not all FE youtube videos are about butt hole fixation or feature length video essays about the fascinating history of lockpicks across the entire series, or how, hot take, Engage le bad. There's also the tribalist serenesforest boomer FEtuber ecosystem, which is somehow even more incestuous than the games themselves, and you also cannot fucking escape in any capacity if you make Fire Emblem videos because the sychophants will bring their bullshit straight to you as soon as you're on their radar (refusing to care, as always, makes these fags more butthurt). What they all have in common is that FE is just a means to a grift. Excelblem, who is the closest to resembling a real human being instead a real life soyjak, freely admits both to this and that he's not even capable of enjoying the games 'normally' anymore.

I feel like I've been seeing the sentiment of "FE is good, the fans are not" more and more lately. I hope it catches on more; I really don't believe that any percieved stagnation of interest in the series has as much to do with Engage as it does the FE community and content creators (🤮) being stinky human fucking garbage that fewer and fewer people are willing to put up with when they just want some background noise for a game they like.

With Prime 4 coming to Switch next year, I think Switch 2 is probably going to come out in the Holiday season of next year at the earliest.

So Fire Emblem will likely either get one more Switch game (safe option is a remake) and a new entry for the Switch 2

Makes sense. But then again this series released Engage, an awkward entry at an awkward time, but did no dlc for Hopes. They may yet surprise us with something stupid.

I can't bring myself to hide ol' Danny Boy because he's so utterly beyond parody. I just can't help but laugh at some of the thumbnails. Literal hour-long autistic cumbrain dissertations on characters that often don't even have more than a sentence worth of dialogue. Apology videos to his irish/scot/who cares fans for making fun of a gaelic word in a rom hack. A perfect example of how completely assfucked the english community for FE is. It doesn't matter which era of these games you align with, if any, or even if you ignore them entirely for rom hacks. They're all full of Danny Boys.

At least he's honest with himself about the main reason why he likes these games. Many fans aren't.

I'm thinking Prime 4 will be a sumul-release with the switch and whatever comes after. The same way Breath of the Wild was. It only makes sense to me to pad out the launch lineup with a big release to act as a system seller.
 
Personally, my jimmies remain unrustled for the time being, even with the lack of news. If they're doing anything I'd prefer them to take their time on it, as much of a cope as that line of thinking is.

When I first stumbled across that channel I thought it was a troll attempt from someone in this thread or on /feg/ or wherever. I'm shocked he hasn't gotten any real pushback because he makes FE fans looks so bad (though you could also argue he perfectly epitomizes the modern Internet FE fanbase lol). Really disturbing stuff; definitely a case study into what becomes of an online community when it isn't gatekept hard enough.

He comes up on my feed, too. Thought he was just another boring FE tuber because I didn’t bother to investigate his channel much. Unfortunately the fandom is infested with loud HRT enthusiasts, especially since 3H. Even Professor Bopper who makes good content and streams on occasion has troons and furries as streaming partners.

I know most fandoms these days are like this, but seems even worse with FE.

I go back to discussions of how mangs isn’t even that great of a content creator, but he doesn’t have the personality of dry cardboard and isn’t a furry troon so that makes him a star in the FE world.

3H introduced way more ppl to the series and also has openly bisexual characters. There’s also “cute” hikikomori and depressed characters like bernadetta and Marianne that troons can point to as “literally me.”

So basically: yes.

Loved three houses, but it did bring an unsavory element… also awakening and fates obviously brought a lot of people in, too, but it wasn’t as many as 3h imo.

Awakening, and Fates especially, was when the terraforming of the fandom started. But, it was easier to ignore because most of that shit was quarantined to Tumblr back then.

Marianne is also beloved by chancels... oh my god she really IS the troon character!
But it doesn't really matter. Dorothea would be anti-trans as soon as the bathroom stuff started but they probably still love her too.
 
My sister is playing Three Houses as her first Fire Emblem game.

She asked me stuff about it, and that I refrain from spoiling anything (at the same time).

She also chose Edeltard Edelgard as her child, and lost Hubert immediately. She is considering restarting.

What do I do?
