I recently got a group discussion video about a ranking of every entry in the series in my Youtube recommendations that I looked into out of curiosity and I was surprised that it had Chaz with the other "mainstream" FEtubers in the group.
They really don't care about still associating with him even after everything that came out. It's so blatant that they just wanted Mangs gone for some reason.

As I'm sure I mentioned earlier ITT, Mangs himself admits he had some questionable habits, borderline sexpest shit. But their attempt at "cancelling" him, trying to assassinate his character, his reputation, his fucking livelihood, to the point he actually considered becoming an hero... oddly helped him.

He finally shook off those last bad habits, fully comitted to bettering himself, and after a period where he decided he was better of without the baggage of "the community" on his ass, he actually produced content worth a shit again. He made his own OC Emblem Hack, he got a girlfriend that loved and respected him for who he is, and now he's married!

They did him a favor isolating him from the utter cancer the "community" became. :story:

We kinda do that too. But there's a world of difference between us going "the fire emblem news cycle is dry, so let's talk about some old drama for nostalgia's sake" and "It's been 4 years and the bald man still lives. I must have a public meltdown because of this fact."

Update: I’ve been doing skirmishes and other grindy things with my army. It’s hard to get used to the whole class and reclass system and how nerfed the supports are. I’ve been buying second seals like crazy and reclassed my Alear to a swordsmaster (got the Run Through ability).

I’m loving the gameplay mechanics and maps (got to that desert map and picked up not-Claude and his gang). What gets me is how normal mode isn’t piss easy for me and I have to keep track of everybody’s progress.

One problem I had with engage is that skirmish levels are based on your strongest characters, so it gets outright scary trying to fight skirmishes if certain characters are overleveled, by which I mean Alear. I need to boost my Bond Levels to take on chapter 21's endless reinforcements, but that's hard when most of the skirmishes are against double digit promoted enemies.

Man, what the fuck? I realized how strong the enemies were too late when I had my baby healers trying to defend themselves against indestructible silver giants or when Alear fell victim to a critical attack (coupled with break effect? Too cruel.),

I just assumed the skirmishes were like fighting the Risen respawning on certain maps in Awakening in the sense that you’re battling to build up your weaker characters you benched sometimes.

So, Mangs recently did an AW stream where he didn't lose any units via an mod or something. And our favorite autist got triggered because Mangs obviously has an deathgrip on the AW community.


TL;DR: Guy has missed the point about using an mod in an series that's hilariously modded just to rant about unrelated shit.

FE7 still has a better story than most other entries in the series. There's great chemistry in the main cast and the player's avatar made me feel more like I was part of the story than Robin or Byleth ever did.

It's one of those situations where I like FE7 for the story and characters, but FE6 for the gameplay. FE7's beginning is lax and comfy, but Binding Blade gets straight to it (because the tutorial is in the Main Menu's options), and if you're playing Hard Mode too? Some of the most stressful first 8 chapters in the series.

Honestly, I have not even considered Veyle was being sexualized in the very few cutscenes I glimpsed at (skipped majority of the story, fuck that noise). So… way to tell on yourself, “Count Gloucester”
 
I'm rewatching Mangs and Mekkah's FE4 Ranked Run lets play.

And it honestly makes me a bit sad, and while Mangs is carrying pretty much the whole thing on his own and Mekkah's comments in retrospect seem actually mean-spirited now, because despite all of this they had a really enjoyable dynamic together.

Kinda makes you long for the good old days where virtue signaling and sending dickpics wasnt the communities main concern.

However I am genuinely happy for Mangs now, getting cancelled is evidently the best thing that could've happened to him.
It revealed Mekkah as the snake he is, laid the pettiness of Chaz, Goosaphone and co bare and showed him who his actual friends are.

Now he is just streaming games, interacting with his chat, making romhacks, he is married and looks like he has been losing weight too.

Meanwhile Mekkah's channel is stagnating and he too is outed as a sexpest, I never watched any of the other nobodies that were involved in the Cancellation so I don't even know what happened to them.

Apparently Goosaphone is an OF whore now?

In short, karma's a bitch I guess.
I'll still rewatch those old let's plays though
