They should've shafted Claude to the sidelines, since they clearly don't know what to actually do with him as a main lord. Twice already they copy/pasted different routes from Black Eagles onto his.
I mean it’s not that different from what they did for him in 3 hopes. They tried to give him the anti-church motivation but it doesn’t work in 3 hopes since the church doesn’t really do anything that bad in the game except defend themselves. They could’ve maybe built them up as more of a threat in Claude’s route or focus on his ancestry like in the first half instead of just doing the Black Eagles route.

Yeah, that's right. I missed Nemesis, though. But wasn't the focus on Claude's ancestry (something about strengthening ties with Almyra or some shit) kinda what they advertised on Golden Wildfire's plot description on Nintendo's website?

On another note, as much as I enjoyed Scarlet Blaze, Edelgard's still a goofy bitch. She should focus her little war on exterminating only the slitherers, given how much the game hypes them up as some big threat.

I would actually be very glad if we got another just straight up Fire Emblem Warriors. None of the plot focus of Three Hopes, or if you are going to tell a story, make it low quality kino: Not the best written story, but there's clearly enough cool shit in it to have its own appeal.

Hell, they could probably do a Musou with Heroes at this point.

Anime-writing Japs are incapable of making compelling stories that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Seconded as long as they don't completely drop the ball on the roster like they did in the past. I could go on forever about all the puzzling choices but excluding Ike has to be the most baffling one.

Just came back from Mangs' Ironman Run on Path of Radiance Maniac Mode and the thumbnail for the latest stream was BEYOND Savage.

I'm going to be playing more of Three Houses today. I did read what you guys said about 3 hopes. Thank you for being vague frens :), it means a lot to this noob, but not so vague I didn't have a idea why the general opinion is poorer than Three Houses: it's a remash.

As for my progress: went through the alliance and battled at this bridge. Pretty damn good fight all things considered. His name escapes me, but Dimitri's body guard is back from the dead bitches, and Dimitri is showing faint signs of softening his heart. Still wants to murder the fuck out of Edelgard tho. I like how they focus on his decent into madness. It's simple, but does the job. The empire, and in his mind, her, killed his parents and a ton of others at that massacre, so he's lost it when the monastery fell.

Dimitri's route is probably the best one in Three Houses, so I hope you have fun.

I'd also say its worth playing the other routes too when you get the chance, but probably do Edelgard's last so you can have two different save files for the route split as Edelgard's route is the only one where there are branching paths beyond the choice of class to teach (only if you get Edelgard's support to a high level before chapter 10).

I did not know that about Edelgard, so that's REALLY good to know. A regular ending and true ending I'm guessing? It'll be fun to see no doubt. I've been enjoying my playthrough immensely; you don't see many games any more I feel actually give a shit about the story over the graphics. Feels like I'm playing a good old school Xbox 360 RPG. Still cares about the charecters and story, the side quests aren't just find 20 apples or whatever, and while graphically it isn't winning any awards, it's doing its best merging the anime and 3d aspects with the hardware it has.

Yeah it's one route where you help Edelgard and the other is where you help out the Church. They're both still good even if the Church route is very similar to the Claude route, which is funny since the church route was the first one developed.

Man. So Mangs just had a Draft Race on Andaron Saga with PH,Donlot and Nohrian Guy and it was an 11+ hour roller coaster.

I was not expecting it to be this eventful. We almost had a MangsofRedemption Moment.
At this point I'm not surprised that there's retards out there that will sit down and watch an 11+ hour stream.

Is it true that to get Blazing Blade's 19xxx chapter, you have to get Nils to level 10 before ending Lyn's story?

That doesn't make any sense

You actually only have to get him to level 7, but you also have to defeat Kishuna in chapter 19x to unlock 19xx. Oh, and you have to be playing on Hector mode as well.

It's not really worth it unless you really want a couple extra lines from Nergal at the end of the game. Or the Dragonshield and Talisman that you can get.

How were people even supposed to figure that out when the game released? I don't remember the game giving you a hint or anything for that matter.

Were there even strategy guides in English that told you how to get it?

I think at least one did, but I would have to dig it out to refresh myself.

FE used to have a bunch of secrets like that, I think the devs were having fun. Like, good luck recruiting Stefan in Path of Radiance without using the internet or a strategy guide lol
