I got through Chapter 16-20 with little effort. Can see why they say this is one of the easiest Fire Emblems. Seth took a backseat for the rest of the game and was little more than a benchwarmer handing Ephraim extra Javelins every time he ran out of weapons from the supply closet.
Ephraim actually soloed the first section of Chapter 20, cleared a path to the temple while all the enemy creatures formed a nice neat line to die, and with a few elixirs was able to body both the lich and the Myrrh's Dad. The rest of my units camped out at spawn and repelled any gargoyles that rushed to try and kill L'arachel.
Wouldn't she be able to resurrect him or something years later? Isn't that something Manaketes can do?

This post was cut off in the middle of all the ddos faggotry:

The first demon king map did require some splitting up to deal with the initial skeletons and a few dragon weapons + Ephraim's Seigfried. For the Demon king himself, I just double tapped him with Siegfried, rescued Ephraim and healed him to full health in at the end of my turn, and then double tapped him again to end the fight before he could summon anything bigger than a centaur. The one time he summoned four necrodragons it was GG before I could get my tank line assembled with General Amelia, Gilliam, and Duessel.
Ephraim basically soloed Chapter 20 and 21 by himself and seth was only good for handing him a Javelin or extra killer spears whenever he used up everything that wasn't the special lances you cannot repair or replace. Eventually figured out that he had a bottomless backpack and could just pull out any number of additional lances or elixirs at any time with the Supply tab. Nothing this broken is in future games. If Sacred Stones ever gets the "Shadows of Valentia" treatment, I would add weapon repair but only for any special weapons like the sacred relics since you do get them near the end of the game.
Its also really dumb how easy it is to lose your epilogue save and re-lock the creature campaign/world map under extras. Fortunately I had a backup save for Chapter 21 and it was a simple matter of finishing the maps again.

Also started Three houses for the first time. I am treating the knights of Sothis as a cult that had abducted me and my supposed merc dad after we saved some teenager campers in the woods that just showed up on the doorstep. Got as far as November and toned it down from the aptly named Maddening difficulty to Normal because I just want to have fun. Its already a shitty Persona 5 clone with next to no time to level anyone and suddenly you're expected to have everyone at level 15+ but everyone except Byleth dies in 2 hits even on normal even if they are all around the current recommended level.
I chose the Golden deer house because the Barbarian king sounds a lot more fun to fight than yet another petty civil war because one side blindly follows orders and allowed their leaders to be mindraped by the Mythical creature from the Cthulhu dimension again. Echoes had the same plot with Duma. I only know about some minor spoilers for the routes. I also love that weapon repair is in this game and gives me some hope for an outsourced Sacred Stones remake.
Monsters are also stupidly OP even with a level 20+ advanced class Byleth hacking away at them on normal, The way they were before this game was fine. This is just cheating even after you've mowed down the Health bar several times as described in the text tutorial with no way to tell how many regenerations they have left. The stupid persona 5 time management system really screws you over even if you battle every week to level up your units. Lectures should also give the opportunity to level units at a slower rate than fighting.
I think Three houses is a mediocre but enjoyable FE game so far. Could have really done without the Persona 5 time management bullshit but Byleth can solo the game on normal so its not as big of a deal as it is on higher difficulties.
