I actually wanted to link this:
It's basically FE8 just some events are forced into some routes (Like Cormag always showing up in Ephraim's route so he won't have dialogue about avenging his brother when fighting Valter since that's Eirika route only)
Oh it's a bit more crude than in 4 kings.

In that game you get a chapter where you just can buy things, build up support and visit villages.
You also choose how to divide your army and then alternate between both lord's army until they regroup.

In the route fusion mod you can't choose how the army is split and can''t really prepare for it.

Once I got L’arachel a restore staff Chapter 14 was cleared easily and I stocked up on killer lances, Killing edges, steel blades, and killer bows with a few killer axes. No need to buy any knight crests as Vigarde drops one. I promoted Forde to a Great knight and while he dies in 2-3 hits now instead of 1, hes still good for protecting healers from anything that slips past the frontline.

Also Amelia was fairly quick to level and is a really good general. Why are there so many spergs that absolutely hate her? Just put a wall of stronger units around her and hand her a few javelins and iron lances when she gets her first promotion. 10-20 minutes max. Idk how they pulled out “hours” from their ass unless they play like DSP.

Chapter 15 was a fairly easy canon fodder spam level. I used the master seal to make Franz a great knight. Probably a mistake but he was helpful alongside Forde and the rest of the army in quickly taking out half of the map in several turns.

God damn Seth has the evasion rate of a brick. For Chapter 16, Seth is complete dogshit and not as good as the earlier chapters even at level 16.

Most of the time even chugging elixirs and having several generals and great knights behind him and a bow knight mowing through most of the level not running ahead, he STILL manages to be the worst fuckup on the team. Ephraim bodies Orson in 1 turn but I end up losing Seth to a suicide by tome where he just refuses to use the javelins I gave him or Neimi’s horse trips on a rock and she faceplants onto the hard castle floor after no scoping all the dark sages with a killer bow. Amelia shines here as almost nothing can hit her. Especially the Mages.

I still cleared it several times but am just about to let seth be a permadeath though I do want to play the creature campaign.

I got through Chapter 16-20 with little effort. Can see why they say this is one of the easiest Fire Emblems. Seth took a backseat for the rest of the game and was little more than a benchwarmer handing Ephraim extra Javelins every time he ran out of weapons from the supply closet.
Ephraim actually soloed the first section of Chapter 20, cleared a path to the temple while all the enemy creatures formed a nice neat line to die, and with a few elixirs was able to body both the lich and the Myrrh's Dad. The rest of my units camped out at spawn and repelled any gargoyles that rushed to try and kill L'arachel.
Wouldn't she be able to resurrect him or something years later? Isn't that something Manaketes can do?
The first demon king map did require some splitting up to deal with the initial skeletons and a few dragon weapons + Ephraim's Seigfried. I just

This post was cut off in the middle of all the ddos faggotry:

The first demon king map did require some splitting up to deal with the initial skeletons and a few dragon weapons + Ephraim's Seigfried. For the Demon king himself, I just double tapped him with Siegfried, rescued Ephraim and healed him to full health in at the end of my turn, and then double tapped him again to end the fight before he could summon anything bigger than a centaur. The one time he summoned four necrodragons it was GG before I could get my tank line assembled with General Amelia, Gilliam, and Duessel.

Ephraim basically soloed Chapter 20 and 21 by himself and seth was only good for handing him a Javelin or extra killer spears whenever he used up everything that wasn't the special lances you cannot repair or replace. Eventually figured out that he had a bottomless backpack and could just pull out any number of additional lances or elixirs at any time with the Supply tab. Nothing this broken is in future games. If Sacred Stones ever gets the "Shadows of Valentia" treatment, I would add weapon repair but only for any special weapons like the sacred relics since you do get them near the end of the game.
Its also really dumb how easy it is to lose your epilogue save and re-lock the creature campaign/world map under extras. Fortunately I had a backup save for Chapter 21 and it was a simple matter of finishing the maps again.

Also started Three houses for the first time. I am treating the knights of Sothis as a cult that had abducted me and my supposed merc dad after we saved some teenager campers in the woods that just showed up on the doorstep. Got as far as November and toned it down from the aptly named Maddening difficulty to Normal because I just want to have fun. Its already a shitty Persona 5 clone with next to no time to level anyone and suddenly you're expected to have everyone at level 15+ but everyone except Byleth dies in 2 hits even on normal even if they are all around the current recommended level.

I chose the Golden deer house because the Barbarian king sounds a lot more fun to fight than yet another petty civil war because one side blindly follows orders and allowed their leaders to be mindraped by the Mythical creature from the Cthulhu dimension again. Echoes had the same plot with Duma. I only know about some minor spoilers for the routes. I also love that weapon repair is in this game and gives me some hope for an outsourced Sacred Stones remake.

Monsters are also stupidly OP even with a level 20+ advanced class Byleth hacking away at them on normal, The way they were before this game was fine. This is just cheating even after you've mowed down the Health bar several times as described in the text tutorial with no way to tell how many regenerations they have left. The stupid persona 5 time management system really screws you over even if you battle every week to level up your units. Lectures should also give the opportunity to level units at a slower rate than fighting.
I think Three houses is a mediocre but enjoyable FE game so far. Could have really done without the Persona 5 time management bullshit but Byleth can solo the game on normal so its not as big of a deal as it is on higher difficulties.

If these faggots hadn't collectively murdered every previously good western IP, they wouldn't have to resort to better voice acting than the Japanese for the switch era games. Three houses is one of the rare times the Dub is better than the sub. Had no idea that you could stab someone's ear drums with a voice until I heard the Japanese VA for Bernadetta.

Also can the Red haired jew get killed off already? It stopped being funny after Awakening.

Today was Mangs' charity stream with the new gang of chucklefucks that have come to grift support the Eggmaster. I have yet to do a deep dive on them, but they do seem genuine so far, at the very least. Sadly due to family compromises, I was unable to tune in. I did, however try checking on our favorite methhead thot:

I don't even remember what I did, but I got exacly what I wanted for Christmas! :lit:

Man, what happened to Mangs was dirty. He used to have this facebook page I would frequent, had a few good conversations with the guy. My impression, no shot he'd ever try to hurt or take advantage of someone on purpose.
(Facebook page is delisted by the way, can't even look at the archive if you weren't there to begin with.)

Anna sounds a lot different. Did she get recast? Is Strassman finally sick of the role? I am retarded, they outright say she was recast. And let me say that the new voice is rather grating. Even if Strassman sometimes sounded unenthused, I had gotten really used to her lower tone and appreciated it in a sea of high-treble actresses.

Anna has been in every game since the beginning (excluding Valentia) and is something of a series mascot. What you're asking for is like asking Pokémon to go without Pikachu, and that just won't happen.

@Viscious Seviper That Nemesis fight was the only thing I liked about the Golden Deer route (that and Crimson Flower are tied for the shittiest out of the four). Report back when you get to it, if you haven’t already. I beat it on a normal(?) difficulty. Can’t imagine trying to beat it on hard or maddening.

Yeah, I had to mute my goddamn switch each time I hear that bitch talk.

Oh and for Anna, too. If they couldn’t bother on giving her fucking supports in Three Houses, what was the point of having her in as a character?

Well, damn. (:_(

She should have just stay at a secret shopkeeper or adviser then.Making her playable as a DLC character that has a little to nothing to do with main story always feel kind of awkward to me.Like they dont even bother giving her proper backstory or explain why there are so many of her sis who look the same and also called Anna in fe13.

Hey look, it's Monica "I'm going to lend my voice to a ton of trashy fetish anime while complaining about women's rights" Rial.

I was already sick of Monica Rial in Echoes, I can't believe they got her again for this game.
