I know people are focused on the shit hair color, but can we talk about the other designs. They look generic as hell, even beating out the 3H pre-time skip designs.

They look really close to the shit new time skip designs they gave Dimitri and Claude, which effectively stripped them of much of the character.

Yeah but the shit graphics, vacant characters and sparse landscapes are a dead ringer for Fire Emblem.

I'm going to disagree with your opinion on the Warriors outfits, Dimitri's armor fits the knightly king aspect that shines in his sanity, while Claude's is a lot like his Barbarossa outfit (weird then that his route emphasizes the Fodlan-Almyra conflict). I can't say the same for Edelgard though, her outfit is basically just a short armored dress seemingly chosen for the "cute" aspect over the "Red-Armored Tyrant" design she has in the original game.
 
Looks like a fake leak that was fed to Emily Rogers who is so desperate for clout she claimed it was super real insider info
she's been caught like this multiple times before and fled resetera to that other forum because she was too full of shit even for that shithole

I don't want to play a chick, TBH. I'm fine with Tomb Raider, but if it's forced, it doesn't make sense to me. According to what I know about the franchise. Which prompts me to question these leaks because they're only showing the FeMC. Unless the behind shot in the first reveal is similar to the Nahobino from SMTV (Male but with androgynous looks).

Apparently some guy on YouTube made a general Nintendo speculation video back in early 2022 that had Marth shooped with red and blue hair split right down the middle on the thumbnail. So this leak didn't come from out of the blue, but it could be that they have the same bogus source.

People are saying that that environment looks fairly Gust-like. These screenshots are starting to make me lean towards real since I think they're too much to have made up on the spot in the two days since the rumor really started going around. An alternative hypothesis is that this is just a Chink bootleg but the images being in traditional Chinese makes me doubtful of that.

I heard that the leaks mentioned the MC's mother being a dragon. At this rate we're probably cutting out the middleman seen in the Fodlan cycle (of Byleth's mother as middleman to Rhea) and just going straight to an instant circle of fucking your own parents who are in turn your children because something something progenitor god inside you.
It's all incest all the way down in the minds that go beyond our mere dimensions that you can find at IS.

Allegedly the leaks also state there's no weapon durability but there is weapon forging, and that weapon triangle is back?

EDIT: Apparently also there are minigames to raise stats, one route like Awakening, and a mascot character.
A guy who I've talk to elsewhere took the piss a few hours ago and said "this fucking series is becoming more like persona and I hate it" and now he's utterly mad about that last point.

This isn't exactly concerning, considering how rich you can get in 3H and how easy Awakening was. Might push the gameplay between an case of "steel vs silver"

Dimitri’s problem is really the fact that he is sane to begin with, and the design just carried that problem over. Without the brokenness of the protagonist, Dimitri really just becomes a basic FE lord that happens to have a tragic backstory. I think Dimitri was well designed in initially looking generic, but having a time skip design that was radically different. This Dimitri just remains generic, fine looking, but nothing too special is you seek variation from the norm.

Claude is better than what I remember looking back, but it does feel a bit over designed in areas. Claude never had the most interesting look, but it was simple, befitting of his very unevolving nature and good attitude. This one seems more Warrior-esque, which is not that fitting for Claude from a personality standpoint.

As for El, it’s a mixed bag. The problem with her is her role as hero and villain simultaneously. Her original hit the villain role perfectly, while this one hits the hero role. I will admit though, the new design is less interesting from a design perspective though.
