I have a lot of insight into the FeTuber Drama as I talk to multiple people involved and has been observing the whole event since the beginning.
So here's what I don't get, right?
I know Goose hates Mangs because of whatever happened in that bed (though from how the story was told to me, if she had so much as shouted everyone else would wake up and be able to help her and/or she could have left and slept somewhere else, so I doubt anything more than awkward happened.
My stance used to be that Mangs probably did touch her boob and apologized, and that Goose was shaken, but then used this for her own benefit. After two years of looking at everything, I am convinced Goose intentionally entrapped Mangs.
This pic is from the old, now archived Ft. Mangs Facebook group (notice the 115 likes). You can't join it anymore, only the people still in it can see the posts. Here we can see one of many cases of Goose horny posting for Mangs in public, posting a pic of herself with a pigtails-wig and cleavage in a French Maid outfit. Mangs also mentioned casually in the group that he got even more “saucy” pics in private from her.
Notice the date here, March 29, 2019. This was right before Anime North. If Goose did stuff like this in public, just imagine what she did for Mangs in private. I imagine full on sexting, camming and dirty talk was involved on a regular basis.
So let's see what she did;
-She flirts with him frivolously before the trip, knowing full well Mangs is a horny guy who likes big tits, and wants to sleep with her.
-She insists they share a bed at the convention, knowing full well Mangs expected sex.
-Mangs may or may not have humped her in her sleep. We may never know this.
-She then confronts him multiple times both on the trip and via messaging apps to force him to make inconsistent statements, a common strategy used by interrogators.
-Mangs apologizes and they become friends again. She forgives him.
-She gathers evidence in a folder.
-She talks about it to a few of the FeTubers like Chaz and Lucky Crit, but apparently doesn’t want them to do anything, so she can spring the trap later down the line.
-Once she realizes Mangs is no longer useful to her, she opens fire. Keep in mind that Mangs was also starting to date Ryn at this point, meaning Goose probably didn't get much attention anymore. Goose probably coordinated the whole thing with Chaz behind the scenes, but not until she talks with Mangs some more to harvest some screenshots right before the incident.
Goose meticulously gathered evidence over a year, waiting for the perfect moment to strike, all while harvesting screenshots of drunk Mangs saying inappropriate things that she did not react badly to in any way. The more I see this entire setup, the more I am convinced that Goose planned this whole cancellation very carefully from the start, and probably even had intentions to do it as early as Anime North.
And now you can really tell she's regretting something. Whenever the drama is brought up, she wants to distance herself. She says she regrets becoming Goosaphone. I think she may even be feeling a bit of remorse about the situation. She will never admit what she did of course, but I think her actions are quite telling.
And I know Chaz is an idiot who thought this would be a good chance to score points or whatever. I don't know what his peak subs were, but they're lower than a guy who was accused of sexual assault so obviously it didn't work.
Chaz is just a stupid idiot. He's a typical variant of a male feminist. He parrots their talking points to get pussy and get along. He knew full well he had allegations which could come up, but he thought siding with the victim would somehow grant him immunity. Everything backfired on him and he changes his identity and keeps slithering around.
However, what people need to understand is that Goose and Chaz was fucking at this time. They pretended like they were jsut friends, but it was quite obvious this was not the case.
The reason why this is important to understand is that I very much think Chaz and Goose were the one who coordinated this whole cancellation from the start. I think everyone else got dragged into it, and some of them are dishonest snakes to be sure, but these two are what started the whole thing. When you sleep together, it is easy to plot together.
But why did Mekkah do anything but shut up and wait for the matter to be over?
He has that romhack he made where he says Nigger in it so the modern culture would cancel his fake oreo ass fast as hell.
I’m convinced Mekkah wasn’t part of the snakes at first. He seemed genuinely shocked by the event and did not seem like he was kept in the loop. I do actually believe Mekkah when he says it was traumatic for him. He probably was quite disturbed by the whole thing, but not out of any genuine concern for Mangs. He was worried about himself.
I have observed Mekkah’s behavior these past two years, and I think I have a pretty solid read on him as a person. He is severely lacking in empathy. He only cares about himself. During times of drama, he tends to lie and say he needs time to sort through his emotions, but what I think he means by this is “I don’t want to pick a side until I can see which one benefits me more”.
Mekkah did not support Mangs at all during July 2020. He stonewalled him and left him out to dry. He did not openly attack Mangs, just distanced himself. This allowed him to stay in camp with both sides. Twitter left him alone, and the Mangs fans also secretly held out hope that Mekkah would one day re-unite with egg man.
However, as the years passed by, it became apparent that no reunion would take place. This led to the Mangs x Mekkah fans becoming saltier, and some of them would start turning on Mekkah.
Then, Mekkah’s channel started stagnating, his views dropped, as people found him boring on his own. He was not able to carry the torch Mangs had given him during their run together, and he started to fade into irrelevancy.
In a desperate attempt to get more views, Mekkah starts to borrow ideas, maybe knowingly, from Mangs. He copies his Fe7 PvP series, his thumbnails and structure become more akin to Mangs, and unsurprisingly their common userbase starts calling him out on this.
Now Mekkah is in a situation where he is slowly starting to lose support with the Mangs crowd. Most of them have now abandoned his channel as they realize there is no happy ending to this conflict, and you can tell that his views are suffering heavily as a result.
So what does Mekkah do?
DRAMA VIDEO.
A 2-hour hit piece denouncing Mangs. Talking about how he is an irredeemable scumbag.
What does Mekkah hope to achieve with this video? Subs and views. He hopes to draw on the anti-Mangs crowd, since he’s alienated the pro-Mangs crowd anyway. The problem is that the anti-Mangs crowd are mostly mentally ill trannies on Twitter obsessing over Three Houses. They don’t care about Mekkah and his 7th Thracia 776 playthrough.
Mekkah is an opportunist, plain and simple. He cares about himself. No one else. He does things to benefit himself.
However. I think he expected his video to give him a bigger following. He alienated the last part of the pro-Mangs audience, and maybe he earned a couple extra subs from Twitter, but you can see that his views are still in complete free-fall.
For a channel with almost 70k subs, his regular videos barely break 3k, most of them are around 2k, which is pathetic. He breaks the occasional 10k on very rare occasion, and his streams hardly have a hundred people in them anymore.
A stagnating channel can make any YouTuber desperate. Fading into irrelevancy is maybe the scariest thing that a YouTuber can experience and is probably what led him to making his pathetic drama video. It was pure desperation.
TLDR
-I think Goose & Chaz plotted to take Mangs down from the start, possibly as early as Anime North.
-The rest of the FeTubers are just cowards who got dragged into the drama and said whatever they needed to say to get the mob to leave them alone.
-Mekkah was not part of this snake pit, but watched quietly from the sidelines, only thinking how he could best benefit himself.
-His drama video was a desperation move to revive his dying channel. It failed horribly.
