All of ARR, The Aetherochemical Research Facility, and Baelsar's Wall all have 0 scion involvement. Not really either? The earlier ARR dungeons now features unnamed adventurers for trusts, and I believe that's the case for most dungeons where the scions were not nominally involved in. I don't see why they needed the scions involved at all, except for memberberries purposes.
I hate every part of this sentence because it feels like something that would happenThe Monkey's paw curls and Wuk Lamat is the new permanent member of the Scions
She can always leave her cuck brother to rule while sending him picto aether bits of all the new ways she eats tacos and gets rescued by the WoL in distant lands!I hate every part of this sentence because it feels like something that would happen
>Wuk Lamat visits IshgardI can see them having WL becoming like an Envoy and visiting the other countries while having the WoL as her bodyguard or some shit. Maybe she decides to go on a globetrotting adventure to get to know the other countries and requests the WoL to join her since hes been in those places before.
Yeah we were going to the Waking sands just because. All of ARR, The Aetherochemical Research Facility, and Baelsar's Wall all have 0 scion involvement.
I'm clearly talking about the dungeons you double nigger.Yeah we were going to the Waking sands just because.
this was already canon before nidhogg morbed all over the place>The Horde and Ishgardians all dance in the streets together as the Church legalises gay interspecies marriage
Expecting me to know how to read is ablest and I have lodged a complained with HR.I'm clearly talking about the dungeons you double nigger.

As much as I hate to give one of our retarded drive-by shitposters credit, technically he has a point if he's a XIV player.Expecting me to know how to read is ablest and I have lodged a complained with HR.
Reading tooltips is for faggots I just press the buttons that light up and nothing elseAs much as I hate to give one of our retarded drive-by shitposters credit, technically he has a point if he's a XIV player.
The worst part about Y'shtola's blindness is that it barely has any drawbacks to her and is an upgrade:The main thing is that even though the most-interesting twist of ARR's finale was reversed, there's still an element of consequence to it: one scion is dead, one can't use aetherytes, and one is blind-sortof.
I hope no one outside of the writing team ever forgets that this is the case.2) Matoya warned Y'shtola during HW that aethervision is slowly killing her, Y'shtola went "yeah I know idc" and it became an abandoned plot thread.
You see, as demonstrated in Shadowbringers, Y'shtola's blindness only exists when it needs to exist for the sake of narrative convenience in some fashion. In that case, specifically reminding everybody that HEY, SHE'S FUCKING BLIND, SO THAT'S WHY SHE ASKS URIANGER TO EXPLAIN WHAT THE NIGHT SKY LOOKS LIKE TO HER. ISN'T THIS A GREAT CHARACTER MOMENT?3) Very rarely has her aethervision been a hindrance to any sighted task, even as obvious as picking out letters on a sign or a book. The handwave is that arcanist books use aetherically-tuned ink but that's only the case for arcanist books because they are special geometries for manipulating aether. There's zero reason for an academic tome or a merchant's advertisement to be written in expensively produced and specially-attuned ink.
Sorry bro, she has the "Marketable Character" buff at the moment. She's functionally immortal.I hope no one outside of the writing team ever forgets that this is the case.
I knew she was untouchable the moment she became the face of FF14 marketing for Dissidea NT in 2015.Sorry bro, she has the "Marketable Character" buff at the moment. She's functionally immortal.
The whole “aethervision is totally going to kill Y’shtola” part is a mistranslation in the English version of the script, the Japanese script doesn’t mention death at all.The worst part about Y'shtola's blindness is that it barely has any drawbacks to her and is an upgrade:
1) This somehow inexplicably granted her the ability to see aether via asspull, making her a walking Aetherometer and ensuring we almost never see any scions with these bad boys strapped to their arms anymore.
2) Matoya warned Y'shtola during HW that aethervision is slowly killing her, Y'shtola went "yeah I know idc" and it became an abandoned plot thread.
3) Very rarely has her aethervision been a hindrance to any sighted task, even as obvious as picking out letters on a sign or a book. Ooh, downloading that. Thanks.these bad boys
The other time that I can remember is when she physically could not see the Blasphemies in Endwalker due to their aether being eldritch. Didn't prevent her from seeing Meteion, a creature defined as an Entelechy (made of PURE DYNAMIS) though. ISN'T THIS A GREAT CHARACTER MOMENT?
Please elaborate, I would like to know more. The whole “aethervision is totally going to kill Y’shtola” part is a mistranslation in the English version of the script, the Japanese script doesn’t mention death at all.
