I really don't know what to think of this and maybe you all are on board with how Zepla is handling this, but to me, she's really starting to tread dangerously close to lolcow behavior. I think anyone who foams at the mouth over anyone who plays Hogwarts Legacy is pathetic, but people who cry out in pain as they strike like this are even more pathetic to me. To me, this behavior needs to stop right now before she gets a thread on here because neither the right nor the left are going to be on her side. The right is going to hate her because she's a stupid ditz who won't shut up about equality and the left will hate her because she's playing a game they don't like.
 
If I were Zepla I wouldn't be going through all the effort of trying to justify myself to these people. You're still just playing their game if you do so. I'd just say "I'm the streamer and you're my guests. I can play whatever I want, deal with it" and leave it at that.

It doesn't work that way. If she makes these videos, you have people such as Asmongold who reacts to it in front of tens of thousands of people and thus the echo chamber of people supporting her grows more and more. It's all part of the game. You see a tiny bit of drama that, when ignored, goes away in probably 10 minutes, latch on to it and make sure your circle of online friends/creators rally to your cause because they are known to do so. I'm amazed Josh Strife Hayes hasn't leapt to her rescue yet.

The only people more retarted are the spergs who actually want people cancelled over playing Hogwarts Legacy, they get nothing out of it besides drum up more people buying the game. At least the streamers like Zepla capitalize on the drama, as is the style these days. Can't say I blame her even if the whole thing reeks of using your echo chamber of simps to make yourself feel better.

At the end of the day, the only people you paint in a negative daylight are the idiots who's imaginary vagina hurts over a videogame. Seems like a hollow victory.
 
All "full-time" streamers are kindof retarded weirdos cultivating society's evidently bountiful crop of even-more-retarded weirdos, so it's safe to say the whole situation is so flush with stupidity that every individual node in it is mundane.

Like, I don't care if she's directly contradicting herself and fanning drama and attention and so-on - she's a streamer. That's what they do. If they were fully-functional, well-adjusted people, their main source of income and interaction wouldn't be people half their age. The winning play is just to laugh at how heated and ludicrous people will get over the most vacuous thing.
 
She's talking out of both sides of her mouth and wants to appease both the folks who enjoy #1 in Steam Sales Hogwarts Legacy, while also mollifying those who aren't a fan of 56% more sales than last year's Game of the Year (Elden Ring), Hogwarts Legacy.

But she has a point.

HP Lovecraft is another "problematic" creative that I'm sure these retards lapped up the memes and everything else in droves. Joss Whedon is now haram, but these retards have no issues lapping up the MCU house he built or fondly looking back on Buffy or Firefly (probably because his sins 'only' constituted misogyny. Weird how that sort of acceptance tends to run parallel with troons. Many such cases!)

You can divorce creator from work, as these sexpests have shown a willingness to do. Zepla shouldn't be getting tarred and feathered for it, but it's fucking hilarious that she is.
 
I watched one of her streams once and it was a little cringe but if she's making trannies seethe by playing wizard game she's alright

XIV players are some of the most terminally triggered and offended people I’ve seen online. They’re constantly screaming about whatever plot points that cross their mind due to their terrible reading comprehensions seeing offensive material everywhere. One of the few good things about XI’s community is that it is pretty much free of these people. Let’s hope XI’s community stays that way.

XI people have their own special brand of autism and a number of them have carried over to XIV in some ways. And while their autism isn't anywhere near as egregious as the snowflakes that would make something like this trigger warning list, it's still fucking annoying to be subjected to.

I've had XI niggers shit up FC chats before with endless bitching about XIV, and then turn around and get offended when they get recommended they should play XI instead if they like it better.
 
Yeah XI has a huge mmo boomer problem and are just as bad as XIV fanboys with their fanboyism, I’ve seen XI players get really mad whenever they see praise towards XIV of any kind. They also genuinely believe Yoshi-P is trying to sabotage XI and get it shut down to force people to move over to XIV. The sweatlords that pine for the level 75 cap era are the worst.
