Now that wasn't something I had on my 2023 bingo card. I hope she sticks to it and doesn't end up groveling and begging for mercy, not that it would even help her at this point.

EDIT: She actually compiled all of the shit

Utterly fucking delusional. "You didn't die so nothing happened to you!" is some downright brain washing tier take on what Zepla went through. She had to permanently move across country I believe and panic flee for her life during that entire process. "Privileged war refugee" is a phrase I can only expect from the highly read and studious playerbase of FFXIV.
I'm kind of hoping this becomes some kind of mass blackpill on how fucked up the FFXIV playerbase is. Shenpai wants you dead and in a ditch for playing w*z*rd game, the fanbase will happily throw their fellow players under the bus if it's convenient, and if you push back in any way in game or out, they'll mass report you and their sycophantic game masters will have you banned. On the one hand, it's utterly hilarious seeing Ms. Insufferably-Wholesome-6-outta-10-but-thinks-she's-a-9 Zepla getting dragged, as she's so blatantly pseudo-saccharine and milque toast it's insulting.
On the other hand, these troon retards need to start living up to their threats of 'mass suicides' and/or get some fucking perspective.
Not that I've heard of. I meant push back as in like fighting back against people throwing shit at you for playing it.Wait, have people gotten in-game banned over stuff like playing Hogwarts Legacy? That one seems like a bit of a stretch.

MMO drama is one reason why I try to stay solo when I play and just do shit with randoms, or maybe make a name as a decent random and have a quasi-static that likes me. This was over a decade ago, but in WoW Burning Crusade, right when Karazahn was being figured out, one of the big guilds on my server got the first Mongoose Enchant drop. For anyone who doesn't know, Mongoose was such a good weapon enchant, it was used well into the next expansion Lich King. Anyway, this guild gets it, and after their raid, I don't remember if it was the Guild Master or Raid Leader, but dude goes to the realm forums and pretty much does a "We have Mongoose, we're not sharing, don't ask, fuck you" post. After about 2 weeks, the guild was disbanded and the enchanter they allowed to have the enchant deleted enchanting from his professions to spite everyone and say he doesn't have it.This is pretty interesting. The suggestion, here, is that the guy was making private VODs (for whatever reason), which are different from unlisted ones in that unlisted videos can still be accessed if you have a link to them. Getting access to a youtube video that has been privated is much more difficult, unless you have access to the user's account.
So the suggestion here is that some butthurt bench-warmer actively hacked into another member's account in order to find and leak the video footage. That's pretty funny if true. That or the speaker was using private more colloquially, though the suggestion of "unusual login activity" makes me lean towards 'some retard had their character name as their password' or something.
Right, but I remain skeptical over the claim that standing your ground on playing a completely unrelated video game (so long as you do so within reason — i.e., in a Player Conduct ToS-friendly way) would still get you banned due to mass reporting. Maybe a crooked GM might have a talk with you over it, but generally, the process of moderation of the playerbase seems to have become very hands-off lately, possibly due to all the past incidents involving GM fuckery. Even the reporting function tells you nowadays that you won't be directly approached over most matters so as to ensure privacy. It's not necessarily playing #1 in sales on Steam video game Hogwart's Legacy that is bannable, it's that using #1 top streamed game on Twitch video game Hogwart's Legacy as an excuse to find any reason to target and run down someone they disagree with.
It might've changed over time, but back in the day it was a rite of passage to get banned for stupid shit. I was being theoretical with my statement earlier given the trends I've seen with GM bannings back in the day. Then again I'm generally a pretty frosty player so I rarely if ever get into altercations in game.Right, but I remain skeptical over the claim that standing your ground on playing a completely unrelated video game (so long as you do so within reason — i.e., in a Player Conduct ToS-friendly way) would still get you banned due to mass reporting. I bet if these people were in her exact situation they’d be milking the shit out of being a war refugee and demanding attention non stop.
Depends on how far "back in the day" we're talking, because at least before world hopping and cross-world PFs got added, I know me and my old crew used to be absolute shitters to bad players/people expecting carries through farm parties and people who were taking the game too seriously, and we never once caught GM attention for it.It might've changed over time, but back in the day it was a rite of passage to get banned for stupid shit. No real Australian would be caught dead typing "Aussy" instead of "Aussie". They belong in Bongland for sure.View attachment 4544630
