I didn't necessarily mean the guys should wear women's clothing I find that gay and obnoxious too. I just feel like there is a lot more love and care put into the female outfits, they are a lot more interesting imo, but at the same time I guess there is only so many variations of shirt and pants you can have.

There is more variation in female locked clothing so you have more options to mix and match, the guys stuff kind of ends up looking same-y.

Hopefully that makes more sense ! :)
My female friends (who play female characters) have complained about the exact opposite: That the female-locked clothing is all same-y and awful compared to the stuff guys get though.

Ultimately, I think all the glamours are stale at this point. The only real cool stuff that jumped out at me right away as of recently has been the PvP milestone rewards for the first and third series. And I suppose the cape of happiness was also really neat initially, but, other than that, it's all been kind of meh. Particularly the new kimono set with that shitty arm tattoo that you get from the latest addition to the Tataru sidequest.

SE really needs to hire some fashion people to dream up some new outfits. Japan is full of em so it can't be hard.

Kind of sucks the Gaia outfit doesn't come with the hair. I try to refrain from Mogstation purchases but more hair options would be nice. Come to think of it, I don't think you get hair options from Omega.

I remember in the artbook that they consulted the cosplayers who worked at the company when designing miqote because they knew for a fact cosplayers will love miqote. This was a decade ago so who knows what changed considering the original artist left.

I have the exact opposite problem. Trying to find not frilly bullshit for a woman is difficult. My female viera looks tend to lean more into tomboy/butchy kind of vibe and lots of things that are pants for men become booty shorts for women. I had to use the MCH specific class quest pants a lot in my glams because they don't do that.

Finally got a medium plot :D

I have the same problem with my FemRoe. Frilly shit also just looks really terrible on our frame because we're huge. I'm happy as hell that they're removing the retarded gender lock on a lot of clothes though. Just wish they'd do it faster.

So I accidentally joined Faerie not knowing it is the troon server. What NA / EU (English speaking) servers are good to join? I see everyone saying different things but i just wanna chill and not be forced to join a gay free company.

I can't recommend one specifically but if you transfer to a world that's classified as new you get special perks so I'd say it's worth it to pick one of those.

I mean, it's called Faerie, what did you expect?
But yeah, every server is full of troons, you can't escape them and their perpetual victim complex.

You could at least transfer to a more quiet server. For Crystal, that'd be Goblin and Malboro I believe. Of course, the downside is that it's Crystal.

I don't think any server that exists alongside a high pop server is particularly safe from the high pop's faggotry, to be honest. A lot of those people tend to World Travel anyway, and it feels like it's been compounded further by Data Center Travel.

The safe bet's probably Dynamis right now since that Data Center's relatively unpopulated compared to the rest from what I heard. Although I think roleplayers have also been migrating there too.

Man, the american fanbase of FFXIV must be shit, doesn't it? I've raided with foreigners once and it was fine, but I've read a few horror stories that made me not want to interact with them outside the game.

I say this to my friends, but FF14 gets treated like a FF themed Second Life by a good chunk of people. They're likely losers in real life and have to larp as whatever faggotry they're into instead of keeping it to themselves like a normal person.
The other day I was in the level 60 alliance raid Weeping City of Mhach. Got to the last boss who has weird ass feet. When we got to her I scream "FEET FEET FEET" as a joke. I should of known better, because it sparked a degenerate discussion that I do not remember the details of.
Man I really wish I could give feedback on the current state of the game, a lot of things we've discussed would be mentioned. I just want more complex and diverse mechanics for classes, mobs to not be boring fodder, and harder base content.
It's not just FF14, a lot of MMOs eventually devolve (or always were) a glorified chat room. I remember around 2013 or so, when Burgers were getting tired of waiting for Sega to localize PSO2 and we started hopping onto the Japanese servers. If I'm remembering correctly, the unofficial American server was Ship 2 Block 20; and there was a lot of fart-huffing and drama from people who didn't seem to realize they were in a "videogame."

Another problem Westerners have in MMOs is what I call mediocre elitism. That is, you're expected to jump through a lot of fucking hoops and practically out perform them, and if you don't, you're shit, in fact you're less than shit, and you don't warrant loot, in fact, get the fuck out loser. But when they do dumb shit like stand in fire, fail mechanics, and other shit that ruins everything, they'll be defended. Meanwhile the Asians, if you take 5 seconds longer for the scheduled 15 minute break, they're kicking you and your slot is going to someone who's waiting at the summoning stone.

I haven't seen much (of any) tranny drama on Malboro. But there's a fuck-ton of people with thin skin on everything.

That depends, Dynamis servers are getting more active and I'm starting to spot some elements that I would like to put "on the wall" even in dead ass Maduin, tough it doesn't come close to the shitshow of the other 3. (i.e., I spot maybe one or two people advertising a gay venue as opposed to 30 just spamming chat, however some time ago it used to be zero.)

Plus with queues being as they are on Dynamis with lower pop+dc hopping you kind of have to play in the other data centers anyway, at least as far as the content most people do.

The positive side is that the housing system isn't mega flooded (yet), and that the goods market is such a clownshow that you can become Rothschild rich in a month.

I've always liked Goblin. It's small and pretty quiet and calm now that all the server travel stuff is in place.
Seems like most of the degens flock to the high pop and the lower population servers are less shit as a result

I should have resumed work on the island as soon as 6.3 dropped. I'm behind on levels
