That's the appropriate reaction to ginger boomerSorry, tried to watch it and the first 30 seconds this faggot acts so insufferably smug I had to turn it off, so much so that I don't even care about his point; I just hope he gets eaten in a spiral of gay drama.
Warriors don't have friends.warriors with dragoon friends and scholar healers rejoice
Probably because you don't need anyone else to do like 99% of content. There's nothing quite like forcing everyone else to watch you fight for ten minutes when they all die to the first set of AoEs in the expert roulette.Warriors don't have friends.
Warrior's a good class."When under an effect that increases the chance to land a critical hit or direct hit, actions that are guaranteed to land a critical hit or direct hit will now deal increased damage."

While it'd be funny to say they just want to fuck the pixels, I think they honestly do enjoy it, they're just too stupid to grasp it. Case in point, every redditor's hate-boner to Zenos. That's not to say every one of them hates him, but everyone that does hates him for the same reason: They're too retarded to grasp that he's clinically depressed to an absolutely insane degree. Hilariously, redditors that love him love him for the same reason (well, that plus 'I want him to fuck me.')WARNING: spoilers in the thread.
Reading some of these posts and seeing why people hate these NPCs (some of them are legitimately fucking baffling) I really have to ask this. Do redditors actually enjoy the story? Or do they just like staring at catgirl ass and meek little lambs like Mikoto as easy pussy. Vice versa with creepy women having fujoshi feelings towards G'raha Tia and Alphinaud. I think they do, but in the most consumerist Avengers made me leftist kind of way internalizing none of themes at all.
EDIT: This one's my favorite post and it's something Redditors do that's unintentionally funny:

Why does every redditor speak in hyperbole?
I haven't gone through Endwalker yet, but I've gotten the sense that he's just a sociopath type character who is a sort of twisted mockery of what the WoL is supposed to represent. They're too retarded to grasp that he's clinically depressed to an absolutely insane degree. Yeah, this sort of fill in the blanks projection is why this fanbase is so goddamned retarded when it comes to understanding the story. That's because you're a faggot nigger 'Catboy enjoyer.'
To keep it as spoiler light as possible, it's that, with depression.I haven't gone through Endwalker yet, but I've gotten the sense that he's just a sociopath type character who is a sort of twisted mockery of what the WoL is supposed to represent.

His suicide at the end of SB came with a very clear message of 'I'll never reach that high again'. Any shrink will tell you, depression isn't 'big sad', it's apathy. It's raw, total, all consuming numbness, where even simple pleasures like eating or sex lose all interest, because why fucking bother? So, imagine, for a second, you've lived that way your entire life, and for one brief moment, you get to fucking feel something.
To use a food metaphor, you'd been eating unflavored soy your entire life, and you get one good ass, well made steak. And you know for a hard fact you will go back to soy for the rest of your life. That's why his whole motivation becomes 'make it better, then burn the entire fucking world down, so I don't ever have to deal with this shit again.' It's not so much he's just a rando sociopath, just he knows fighting you is the only way he can ever feel again, and the only way he can top the previous fight is to go bigger.
That being said, he is also supposed to be a mockery of the WoL, in a very Liquid Snake 'You enjoy all the killing' manner. Which, let's be real, we do.
The fact that people still write multi-paragraph, genuine hatred and asspain filled posts about Zenos, Nero, Ranjit or especially Grynewaht, the fucking COMIC RELIEF side villain will never stop being amusing.WARNING: spoilers in the thread.

And now at the end of the first big story arc, ten years in, after Aryan Vergil turned into a fucking dragon, flew across the entire universe, shattered the walls of reality, and then went "lol, lmao even" at the personification of everything bad in existence before you kill it through the power of fucking friendship.
It's difficult for me to conceive of a reason for people to passionately hate Nero. He's too goddamned based. The fact that people still write multi-paragraph, genuine hatred and asspain filled posts about Zenos, Nero, Ranjit or especially Grynewaht, the fucking COMIC RELIEF side villain will never stop being amusing.
I've said it before, but the final Zenos dialog choice is literally a retard check.
No matter if you've been playing for ten years, or less than a year, you've played through something people have spent thousands of man hours creating. You've definitely put in a couple hundred hours unless you're skipping all of the cutscenes. And now at the end of the first big story arc, ten years in, after Aryan Vergil turned into a fucking dragon, flew across the entire universe, shattered the walls of reality, and then went "lol, lmao even" at the personification of everything bad in existence before you kill it through the power of fucking friendship, the game asks you "Was it all worth it? Did you have fun? You did get this far because you enjoyed the game, right? Do you want to keep having fun?" And your answers are either admitting that yeah, you do play videogames to have fun, that's the point.
Or you can pick one of the other choices, because you're some kind of tard who plays videogames because you hate them. Or because you can't separate fictional characters from reality. Or because you're incapable of even acknowledging the concept of a character arc, or motivations, or even human emotion. Or because of a myriad of other mental disabilities you can see clearly exhibited in that reddit thread.
Because Garlean bad, and some people might not have played the Omega raid questline where he really fucking shines. It's difficult for me to conceive of a reason for people to passionately hate Nero. He's too goddamned based.
The in character part is true and there is merit there. I might be generalizing, but most of the online community that actually comes at it from that perspective seems to be uh, a bit too much "in character" though.Though, I'll defend the retard check in a single way: There is merit to responding 'in character.' Where this falls off, however, is when you, the player, think that way. Then, yeah, you should just delete any accounts you can use to discuss the game, and shut the fuck up, because you're a tard of the highest order.
Fucking Quintus and Jullus still get a bunch of hate even though their only sin was having a spine. For such a friendly and accepting community, they're really racist towards the aetherically challenged, and the Finnish.Because Garlean bad, and some people might not have played the Omega raid questline where he really fucking shines.
There are valid reasons to hate Quintus:The in character part is true and there is merit there. I might be generalizing, but most of the online community that actually comes at it from that perspective seems to be uh, a bit too much "in character" though.

To summerize for those who don't want to spoil themselves: 'Zenos is bad because he likes to fight, and if you don't like to fight that makes him stupid. also', and I'm quoting here 'Zenos is the kind of white guy who could call me a racial slur IRL.'
From that Reddit thread:It's difficult for me to conceive of a reason for people to passionately hate Nero. He's too goddamned based
Nero Scaeva. I’m not sure I megaloathe the guy, but I can’t stand how he had been a dedicated follower of the Garlean Empire, was full willing to unleash Ultima on Eorzea and went all in on the ‘anyone not of the Empire is a savage’ thing, but still gets a free pass because he’s a comedic foil for his ex-husband. The man hasn’t shown one ounce of regret in working for a slave-driving, genociding tyrannical dictatorship, but he’s our buddy now.
He's not even our buddy though. He just works with us and his rival Cid because it's more convenient to do so and he wants to surpass Cid directly... Which he kind of does in some ways, but, for the most part, a lot of his technological successes come from the combined efforts of both inventors. From that Reddit thread:
There are valid reasons to hate Quintus:
As for Jullus, I have no idea. He's the guy who arrogantly stood his ground while rubble was piling around him and decided to use circular logic to "outsmart us" when the alliance was extending an olive branch and offering them food and warmth. So he decided to raid the encampment in a pathetic ambush to procure... food and warmth? And also expect the alliance to throw their weapons down and submit not realizing these people overpower him and his men by a disproportionate degree. He could've gotten his own men killed and he could've left the injured to rot and he could've caused needless deaths and for what? Societal values? Might makes right? I'll admit I didn't want him to shoot himself, but I cannot in good conscience say I didn't twinge or feel an ounce of frustration when I talked to him.
