Generally this issue stems from the fact washed-up players become commentators. Few people go into a community space with the intent to be a caster or observer or what have you. It's something you do once you retire from play, but fighting games just don't lend themselves to critical insight as opposed to building hype. Counter-Strike is slow enough that a pro could explain niche shit to a viewer, whereas talking about frame data in the midst of a 49 second match ain't gonna benefit anyone.Hot take but the inherently loud and ridiculous nature of blacks/inner city minorities fit in well with fgc culture when you have commentators like yipes, tasty steve, F-Word, etc. Pop-offs are fun and they definitely drum up the energy needed for them
Games like TF2 got both action and big breaks of inactivity in which people can talk about data only to interrupt it with generic loud black man hype. And often the casting crew aren't just ex-pros either, so there's another set of skills in focus.
Mm yes. The BBCs meant to penetrate troon bussy while the white man watches from the cuck chair. No wonder the FGC attracts them: It's the perfect environment for peak gooning.Geebus, are all the English "speaking" EVO announcers black/trans/fags/degenerates?
