What the hell did they do to Mitsurugi in SC6? He's absolute shit now. And Knightmare seems unreasonably buffed. Most people I fought online used him and wrecked me. Even my button mashing nephew curb stomped me using him.

Tried to get into SC6 but ran out of steam pretty quick. I actually like that version of Nightmare a lot, but I dunno.

Tekken 8 had a bunch of gameplay trailers recently. No new characters yet, but Paul, Law, King and Lars all have one, and Jack is likely next:

If my PFP wasn't obvious, I'm into SNKs series, hereunder King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, and Samurai Shodown.

For KOF, I like to use Yamazki, Yuri and Vanessa when she's available. On occasion, it's Geese. Unfortunately, I've found myself proficient with Athena even though I don't like her character.

Samurai Shodown, I play as Nakoruru, Genjuro, and Galford.

I grew up on Tekken and I like to go back to the old games on occasion when not busting ass in 7. I play mainly as Xiaoyu, Lili, Alisa, Miguel, Kazuya, and Bob. In Tag 2, it was Kunimitsu. If we're all the way back to like Tekken 3 and the first Tag, it's Nina, Paul, and Bryan.

I play Street Fighter as well and I gravitate toward faster characters so Ibuki and Adon for one. I have to find a new main for 6. I like Lily so I hope she's manageable.

I will admit I haven't played much of the newer Mortal Kombat games as I like to go back to MK9 for the PS3 so there, I usually play as Johnny Cage, Stryker, and Jade.

I play DOA as well and there, I usually main Hitomi and Bayman. I hate Ayane's character but she's fun to play as. Same with creepy Marie Rose.

There's like a bunch more that I play or have played like Rival Schools, World Heroes, Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter, and Digimon Rumble Arena. i do adore fighting games

Well, that's true of all of SC 6 characters really; they keep changing the move lists around so attacks aren't where they usually are. I have no idea why they do this. I want to say it simplifies some characters like Ivy, but then Kilik is all funky now, probably to make him different for Seong Mina.

I actually meant they might kill off Kazuya, so if this is in fact the last Tekken he'll be in for a bit, I want to actually make the effort to main him since his image is what drew me to Tekken in the first place.

Dragunov's VA died, but the guy says so little I don't think it matters. Just get someone who can do a deep chuckle and some grunts and you're all set.

Naturally. They make such a big deal of "progression" and rub it in your face over and over again that it makes you tired of it. Now anything that's remotely progressive annoys people whether it's scummy corporate dicksucking or a genuinely good choice based on merit. Frankly, the less progressive the better nowadays.

That Eternity character's the worst part of SF6 so far imo.

And agreed, but it's the saturation of it all. And also, there is a stench of western sensibilities with how Eternity is presented which doesn't help along with Capcom's doc about how TLoU was something to pay attention to.

Basically Capcom seems to fall more in "lets fill it with niggers and weirdos since western piggus love that shit" than them just wanting a character like the fire faggot from Tiger and Bunny.

But yes, 10 years ago I wouldn't have batted an eye at a japanesse product with Eterna and Marissa.

I feel like it's the Japanese devs' way of saying, "Look at all the goofy shit you can do with our avatar creator! You can even make something silly like this!", but unfortunately when that comes to Western shores, it's taken as, "Faggy looking goofball? Oh WOW! SO PROGRESSIVE!"

Street Fighter 6 is an ugly game with ugly woke characters and the supers make the entire screen look like it is slathered in exploded tide-pods. Luke looks fucking retarded. Legitimately developmentally disabled. The men are all blocky with absolutely comedically swollen hands and feet and the women look like what some porn addicted, eGirl-whaling virgin dreams about at night. I hate everything about modern human beings
