Am I just jaded or does this look like shit?
>Complaining about Chun-Li's luscious thighs being too bigHer thighs are needlessly big.
I've seen the light.>Complaining about Chun-Li's luscious thighs being too big
What are you gay?
Also, thanks for reminding me of the time when Akira Yasuda, one of the character designers for Street Fighter II, yelled at one of his co-workers for asking him why he made Chun-Li's thighs so big.

Looks better in 2D, 3D the proportions don't work as well imoHer thighs are needlessly big.
Chun seems to always get the short straw regarding her 3D appearance. Part of the problem is that they always, for whatever fucking reason, try to inject more of a "realism" effect, but it just looks uncanny as fuck. I think the ONLY time she ever looked good 3D was when they fixed her model for MvC:I after they got a HUGE backlash from how fucking hideous her original model in that game was.Looks better in 2D, 3D the proportions don't work as well imo
I later found out that Yoshiki Okamoto's early career included work with Konami. The company later fired him but he then went on to work for Capcom which led to his role as producer of Street Fighter II. Perhaps that was poetic justice for letting him go.I don't remember any of those. Konami had Castlevania Judgement but it was only decent. They didn't make Bloody Roar, but they own the rights to it, so close enough, I guess?
They have so many iconic characters they could just do a SSB clone. I think they made other crossover games with their franchises, and a Mario Kart ripoff, so I'm a bit surprised it never happened.
Fun Fact: This game is referenced in Dance Dance Revolution. Since the first game, they stuck Tetsushin Kongouji's head on a robot and has been the "mascot" for every PARANOiA song in the DDR series.Fighting Bujutsu / Fighting Wu-Shu: a lesser Tekken
This actually saddens me, especially since it never even got a PC port, which would have sold gangbusters (and probably still would to this day).Rumble Roses came close, but even that is a wrestling game rather than a proper fighting game which only got one sequel before disappearing entirely.
Is it just me or are those great graphics for PS1?Evil Zone / Eretzvaju is a late '90s fighting game with a pastiche roster of popular anime from that era. It's known for its characters whose individual stories play out as if they're episodes of a TV series. Despite the subpar gameplay, each character's distinct persona, from the salaryman-turn-sorcerer to the "British" metalhead on the road to possession and perdition, imbue the game with gravitas made all the more charming by the campy performances in the English dub.
Also great are each character's moveset which includes one guy literally nuking his opponent from orbit:

Super Sentai reject Danzaiver, self-righteous and full of bravado:

Let's not forget the sociopathic Linedwell Rainrix and his impeccable "British" accent:
