It looks like Chris also gave our his mom's DS friends code...

This kind of reminds me about the story where Chris brought in his Wii and people had fun around him for like, the first time in his life.

Just going to post that I don't see the point of blurring the code. It isn't easy to message/talk to somebody over the 3DS, and adding him as a friend is mutually beneficial in Pokemon because of the friend Safari.

Either way, we already know his home address.
Blurring out the friend code is for more than just protecting Chris from his own stupidity. It's about maintaining the purpose and policies of this forum. We don't troll Chris, and we don't dox him. Not even when it's stupid and pointless like this and Chris himself is the worst offender. We are supposed to be better than that. Blurring out Chris' friend code is a quick and easy way for a forum admin to make that point. People new to Chris checking out the forums for the first time might not understand what a pokemon friend code is; it's easier to just blur out the code than to explain to them why we haven't bothered.

Besides, why would anyone need to know the code itself anyways unless they are planning on using it to contact Chris? It's purposeless trivia for us to know it. What's more salient to this forum? Chris' pokemon code itself, or the fact that Chris still hasn't learned after all these years not to give out private information over the internets?
You can't really message Chris with just his friend code. I get the principle of it but it is a bit pointless.

I also think that it is pointless... i mean, due to the limitations of the friend code thing, it's really hard to contact chris, let alone trolling over the 3ds network...
i mean, we are better than him just for blurring his friend code? that's a bit weak IMHO... knowing his friend code just let us know that; that he has a friend code because he has a 3ds...

but it's really her mother's friend code? like, is really barb playing it? or did he just bought another 3ds/3dsxl/2ds for himself and he's just "playing it for his mommy"??

Of course he just got a second 3DS for himself. (But remember, Chris and his mother are NOT well-off.)

Why he feels a need to name the second one after his mother, who knows.

It's his mental gymnastics at work. He thinks he's pulling a fast one in order to get more pokemons and he thinks he's bucking the system. It's his excuse. "Oh that one is my mothers! It most certainly isn't mine! Don't take away our pokemons!" As if there is some Nintendo police force looking for people with multiple accounts.

Dunno what it was like in the US, but here in the UK, one of Nintendo's main marketing pushes with the DS line of consoles is claiming that they're good for elderly people and keeps their minds active. It's just like Chris to buy into that stuff.

It's more likely however, that he bought a 3DS the moment it came out, then when the 3DS XL was released, he wanted one of them and justified dropping another couple of hundred bucks on a new handheld that does exactly the same as his old one, by "giving" said old one to Barb, who probably doesn't even know how to turn the thing on.

Maybe for the same reason that he felt the need to name the sexdolls from the "Date classes" in the sonichu comics after his parents... ugh...

Didn't Chris name the PC in one of his other Animal Crossing towns after Barb? It's most likely something like that.

I enjoy how he only does nice things if it is convenient or there is something in return for him. He wanted to win Megan a PSP so she would fuck him. He donated games to his church so he could show off his Wii Sports skills to the ladies in the Youth group. Geez, I wonder what those youth group people thought of Chris when Rocky made them be his friend.

Here's a minor update

2pzomFk.png

Apparently, he wants a vivillon with a colour pattern that is not available in the US (for those who don't know, that pokemon has different colour patterns that depends on the country in which you're playing the game...). And apparently, he want's this one:

PIAuowe.png

Why would chris ask his ex-highschool classmates for a pokemon that is not available in the US?? if he wants someting that has to be imported from other countries, he could easily do it online...

The principle is the point.

This is the forum covering its own ass (also Null covering his). True, a lot of CYA is pointless when you think about it, but the people who might accuse us of being a troll forum or cyberstalking forum or cyberbullying forum are the same people who aren't going to think about it. When someone accuses the forum of being a den of trolls picking on poor little Chris, we can point to the policy of non-dox and show that it applies even to the most insignificant matters like pokemon codes even when Chris himself is doing the doxing.

FemboiBunny said:

It's not about being better than Chris, because who isn't better than Chris? It's about demonstrating that we are better than the weens. Again, this isn't so much about protecting Chris as it's about protecting the public image of these forums.

And that's the last I'm going to say on this because this thread should be about Chris' ongoing quest for in game benefits at any cost, not about forum policy. If anyone wants to continue discussing the "draconian censorship policies" on these forums, they should do it in a thread in the CWCki Forums forum.

Maybe because there are only two real people in his life any more, and he can't think of any other names to use? I mean it's not like he's going to name one after Megan or even Anna.

And I don't doubt Barb occasionally pretends to play on "her" DS to humor her offspring. Hell, she helped him drag a lego abomination to McDonalds and filmed her spawn playing with it there. Occasionally poking buttons on a plastic box is nothing compared to that.

Well in order to actually get Chris as a 3DS friend, he has to add you back as well.

Not gonna lie, I kinda wanna battle Chris just to see what team and sets he uses, and see if he can hold his own against my perfect IV monsters.

I imagine it would be a lot like his TCG days. Chris would have themes and ideas of what strategy he would want to pull off but he won't be able to connect the dots to make it work.

Chris has bought duplicates before such as at Fridays After Five when he was spotted with 2 Pokemon pedometers from Heart Gold/Soul Silver and I believe he had 2 DS consoles so there's no reason to think they're not his. I believe it used to be that he got doubles because he bought both versions and could trade with himself.

This time around he's asking for friend codes because until Pokemon Bank is released the only means he has of catching certain Pokemon is by gathering lots of friend codes as each person has 3 rare catchable Pokemon tied to their friend code. So as usual Chris is using people for completely selfish reasons, but what else is new.

I may not be one to judge but....what is up with the pokemon he wants? I would expect for him to want a legendary or at least something that doesn't require a lot of work to get. I understand Pachurichu and the zebra but you can easily find Stunfisk in the game
No, it's the friend safari. Basically, you can go to your 3DS friends' friend safaris, which contains 3 Pokémon that are all one type. Chris is saying which Pokémon are in his - presumably he has an Electric safari. Just like Sonichu, amirite? :sonichu:

Oh, ok I get it. Nevermind then

He had three Pokewalkers (one he painted as an S-chu Ball), which makes no sense. Why have doubles of the exact same game?

If Chris doesn't get enough friend codes I can see him buying an extra copy or two of X and Y in order to get different friend safari pokemon. And FYI, Pokemon bank will have a yearly fee of $5 (POKEMON IS EXPENSIVE) and will let you store up to 3000 pokemon, so expect that to get filled up quickly like so many LittleBigPlanet levels.

Sometimes you want to replay a Pokemon game but don't want to lose all your work on your team and dex by resetting the save file. If I had the time and the :tugboat:, I know that there are Pokemon games that I'd replay over and over because I loved them so much, and HGSS is one of them.

But chances are that Chris just bought the third Pokewalker on eBay without realizing that it wouldn't do shit without a game to connect to.

Nintendo? Nah, it's probably his excuse to people who question why he wastes so much on vidya while simultaneously having no money for anything else. "No, I do not waste my money, that one is my mother's! Please continue to listen to me whining about not being able to afford groceries, as such!"

So he can get all three starters without having to trade with someone else.

It's like the Buylanders and LEGO DeLorean thing again. Someone online has been calling Chris out on his purchases, and he doesn't want them to know that he dropped somewhere between $150-220 on a second 3DS/2DS and a copy of Pokemon X/Y so he could trade with himself. He's learned that saying "Trolls bought it for me!" won't work, so now his defense is "My mother bought this for herself, honest!".
