It's about maintaining the purpose and policies of this forum. We don't troll Chris, and we don't dox him. Not even when it's stupid and pointless like this and Chris himself is the worst offender. We are supposed to be better than that. Blurring out Chris' friend code is a quick and easy way for a forum admin to make that point. People new to Chris checking out the forums for the first time might not understand what a pokemon friend code is; it's easier to just blur out the code than to explain to them why we haven't bothered.Cyan said:Just going to post that I don't see the point of blurring the code. It isn't easy to message/talk to somebody over the 3DS, and adding him as a friend is mutually beneficial in Pokemon because of the friend Safari.
Either way, we already know his home address.
Besides, why would anyone need to know the code itself anyways unless they are planning on using it to contact Chris? It's purposeless trivia for us to know it. What's more salient to this forum? Chris' pokemon code itself, or the fact that Chris still hasn't learned after all these years not to give out private information over the internets?

It looks like Chris also gave our his mom's DS friends code...
This kind of reminds me about the story where Chris brought in his Wii and people had fun around him for like, the first time in his life.
Of course he just got a second 3DS for himself. (But remember, Chris and his mother are NOT well-off.)FemboiBunny said:but it's really her mother's friend code? like, is really barb playing it? or did he just bought another 3ds/3dsxl/2ds for himself and he's just "playing it for his mommy"??

Why he feels a need to name the second one after his mother, who knows.
Dunno what it was like in the US, but here in the UK, one of Nintendo's main marketing pushes with the DS line of consoles is claiming that they're good for elderly people and keeps their minds active. It's just like Chris to buy into that stuff.Alec Benson Leary said:Of course he just got a second 3DS for himself. It's more likely however, that he bought a 3DS the moment it came out, then when the 3DS XL was released, he wanted one of them and justified dropping another couple of hundred bucks on a new handheld that does exactly the same as his old one, by "giving" said old one to Barb, who probably doesn't even know how to turn the thing on.
The principle is the point.exball said:You can't really message Chris with just his friend code. I get the principle of it but it is a bit pointless.
It's not about being better than Chris, because who isn't better than Chris? It's about demonstrating that we are better than the weens. Again, this isn't so much about protecting Chris as it's about protecting the public image of these forums.FemboiBunny said:i mean, we are better than him just for blurring his friend code?
Maybe because there are only two real people in his life any more, and he can't think of any other names to use? I mean it's not like he's going to name one after Megan or even Anna.Alec Benson Leary said:Why he feels a need to name the second one after his mother, who knows.
Tomboy said:Well in order to actually get Chris as a 3DS friend, he has to add you back as well.
Not gonna lie, I kinda wanna battle Chris just to see what team and sets he uses, and see if he can hold his own against my perfect IV monsters.
Darky said:No, it's the friend safari. Basically, you can go to your 3DS friends' friend safaris, which contains 3 Pokémon that are all one type. Chris is saying which Pokémon are in his - presumably he has an Electric safari. Just like Sonichu, amirite?DJAndyMD said:I may not be one to judge but....what is up with the pokemon he wants? I would expect for him to want a legendary or at least something that doesn't require a lot of work to get. I understand Pachurichu and the zebra but you can easily find Stunfisk in the game![]()

Sometimes you want to replay a Pokemon game but don't want to lose all your work on your team and dex by resetting the save file. He had three Pokewalkers (one he painted as an S-chu Ball), which makes no sense. Why have doubles of the exact same game?
Nintendo? Nah, it's probably his excuse to people who question why he wastes so much on vidya while simultaneously having no money for anything else. "No, I do not waste my money, that one is my mother's! Please continue to listen to me whining about not being able to afford groceries, as such!"CatParty said:It's his mental gymnastics at work. So he can get all three starters without having to trade with someone else.Descent said:He had three Pokewalkers (one he painted as an S-chu Ball), which makes no sense. It's like the Buylanders and LEGO DeLorean thing again. Someone online has been calling Chris out on his purchases, and he doesn't want them to know that he dropped somewhere between $150-220 on a second 3DS/2DS and a copy of Pokemon X/Y so he could trade with himself. He's learned that saying "Trolls bought it for me!" won't work, so now his defense is "My mother bought this for herself, honest!".Alec Benson Leary said:Nintendo?
