Another flower I love is Rosa Centifolia- sometimes called "cabbage rose" or "Rose de Mai" It is highly aromatic and is used in high end perfumery (although Rosa Damascena/Damask rose is used more often) You can make a Rose water/hydrosol out of either varieties if you have distillation equipment. With the Damask rose it takes roughly 67 roses to get one drop of essential oil. I think Centifolia is harder to extract. but here's a pic of it.
