Ibaraki is ok but later you can get Chacha that does the same thing that Ibaraki plus she is wellfare, Shuten is not exactly a powerhouse but the tons of debuffs she can apply make her very useful, i have failed several times in rolling her instead i got the Elf poison queen and the angry metal grandpa

Not quite because Quick teams are still garbage and giving every star to a single servant is useless because the deck doesnt let you nail chains every time, if you want to be a cheapskate you can achieve the same effects with Hans christian andersen and he is easy to obtain and NP5, still a Heal on demand is all fine and dandy but Memelin still has the undefeated crown of healing and charging np at the same time

The next event in japan apparently is about Sherlock Holmes, thankfully for me i will save my quartz because i already have him, going to try the game layton style they made to celebrate it

I like how they go out of their way to explain how the Sieg that you hang out with isn't the one from Apocrypha, just in case people started to like him or something.

I still can't get over how contrived Jeanne and Sieg being a romantic pairing was.

Apocrypha was my first exposure to Fate as a franchise and I probably would have mentally filed it away as complete garbage if a friend hadn't convinced me that it was "the bad one".

Is not that bad, but people was expecting more considering the others, people blame Higashide for changing lot of things and blame Nasu for being a lazy fucker that was more busy playing vidya that supervising the novel, it is almost stated in his blog post that he only now supervise/write the scenarios for Grand order and he only give to other writers the rules and check that they dont deviate to much of his vision (is joked that he was whipped/blackmailed with Persona 5 goodies to make Extella)

The thing with Jeanne and Sieg was very hamfisted because Higashide jumped a couple of rules to make it work, in the middle he just invented that is was really her host that had feelings for Cardboard kun and she was just "infected" with it, that thing with the hosts was ported to Grand Order but the only case i have seen at least in my account is Ishtar (Rin) complaining about EMIYA, i suppose they are going to import it full when Sengo Muramasa (Shirou) is implemented considering all his freaking girlfriends are already in the game

I could have sworn that the thing with Jeanne's host was revealed to actually be entirely on Jeanne. Not that I remember Apocrypha that well or anything. At any rate the entire thing was weird (Sieg is literally a homunculus baby. That's really sketchy, Jeanne), but OG Jeanne isn't half as fun as Jalter so whatever.

I remember hearing Nasu's most recent light novel series was entirely detached from the setting of his other works. I wonder if he's getting tired of writing things in it after GO got super popular.

He is the new miyazaki, he always get bored but then he returns just to make more for example he was going to retire after extra, then he got bored, then takeuchi stole his playstation to make him write extra CCC and here he vowed (again) to stop doing more fate, then he made extella but canned it, dont know about what LN he is doing, the only thing i know typemoon is releasing is the Fire Girls novel but he is not writing it

Also little reminder that he is 10 years overdue with the tsukihime remake

Had a friend who won't recommend Tsukihime as a anime adaptation. From what I can remember, it's supposed to be not as good and it hardly followed the VN as much, but I haven't really read the VN nor have I tried watching a anime of it.

The anime was a disaster of epic proportions that barely followed the VN, it was so bad that it practically killed any adaptation of any VN in YEARS to come (at least Kyoto animation refused to do another until much much later), to the point that any fan of typemoon will say with a serious face that the anime doesnt even exist, for more hilarious i did not watch it until it was broadcasted in Animax Latinamerica and the dub practically killed it for me (bonus of irony almost all the anime that Animax broadcasted was dubbed in venezuela)

Still it has a very neat OST


Also this new event is ... weird, in game is not big deal just a couple of quest but outside in the discord,irc and reddit people are seriously analyzing every bit of evidence and every second of the translated videos to get clues about the culprit

They even translated the relationship chart

I liked Extella and would like to see a version of Extra that wasn't a huge chore, but I'm glad TM doesn't seem to be trying to milk the franchise for everything it's worth with a ton of releases, particularly if Nasu doesn't really want to keep making it.

The LN or whatever he's writing is called DDD. I don't read Japanese, but I have a friend who does, and apparently it's irregularly published in a magazine and isn't super outstanding either way. It makes a few references to stuff Nasu's written as existing as visual novels or the like in the setting but isn't part of the continuty.

I've never read Tsukihime but apparently the guy who made Doki Doki Literature Club loves it so if that's something you care about, there you go.

Oh DDD, I totally forgot about it, its not exactly new , I remember hearing about it a long time ago like in 2008, I remember Nasu was experimenting with other things to stop writing fate , the other thing I remember he did to experiment was Tsuki no Sango that was some kind of weird live audiobook reading by Maya Sakamoto and a manga (yeah she and her husband appears a lot in the nasuverse) I think you can find the live reading in YouTube, the other one I remember was his sperging when was playing Red Dragon with other great authors (seriously read the battle reports is hilarious how nasu has terrible luck with dice rolls don't watch the anime)

edit: now that i double checked apparently Tsuki no sango happen in a timeline where the events of tsukihime did not happened, considering Typemoon has already burned all their titles in FGO there is a chance that we got a collab event, sadly my knowledge about is practically 0 because no one has translated the audios

So we the filthy JP elitist got a rerun of Meiji ishin sadly i will go blind on this because when it was released i was emu banned last year,but if you dislike Ibaraki after bullying her in USA you can now get her almost the same thing version that is Chacha just bear with her almost pedo fans

I was expecting another gudaguda to add Nobukats,u he already has a design (unsurprisingly he is a trap) oh well need those materials
 
Gudaguda Meiji Ishin must be interesting tho in most cases I'm hoping to fully complete the Nobu rerun.

I haven't decided whether to get Okita one day.

Hijikata berserker is interesting for servant character. Ignoring what people think about him, surely his hard hitting NP and his skillset ain't that bad right?

He is not bad but his third skill is a little weird he was mid tier in the ranks of popularity (Okita outrank him) until for some reason the shippers paired him with Carmilla because he has a voice line with her, it did not help that DW made it canon by giving Carmilla a line with him

I still dont want to roll for him because the gacha where he is, is full of servants i already have

Redownloaded at the beginning of May after losing my old account at the beginning of the year like an absolute dipshit, got Shuten as my first 5 star on a random 3 pull during that event and angra mainyu last night, I think the gatcha feels bad I lost my old account.

Gotta turn off sound when I play in public though because that bitch moans everything she says.

You could have pulled Raikou instead, and you would get the same results. Also, Okita Alter is a 5 star Alter Ego servant.

That said: Camelot is really cool. A bunch of my friends were hyping up how "wow, FGO gets really good now!" but comparing it to London is like knight and day.

In other news, I managed to pull Okita Alter, Swimsuit Nobunaga, and Swimsuit Raikou. All at different times, of course. I really need to finish parts one and one point five, mainly so I can get to part two.
