Scientology or evangelical nutjobs either way it's gonna bring some salt. I fully expect Paul Joseph Watson or another vlogger to sperg on about how this game is "evil" SJW snowflake propaganda.

The only thing better is when Ubisoft release the Far Cry 6 teaser and it'll be some sort of secret Jihadi meet up and those righties will be right back to sucking dick to beat those dang dirty SJWs.

I'd play it, I've always wanted Far Cry in the Middle East.

The radio tower broadcasts in this game will probably feature a cantankerous man bombastically promoting a website called DataBattles.net and his commercials will tout the efficacy of various survivalist products like Ultra-Manhood Lifeforce supplements and a designer line of fallout-proof air filters.

The consensus right now is you probably either play as a black guy or a vagina bearer. Ubisoft hasn't released any details other than the villains are evil white Christians who love America.

The 4chan leaks that were correct on it being set in religious Montana also claim you are playing a cop (possibly county sheriff) sent to investigate a weird fundie group before getting cut off from backup. So it sounds more like a Deliverance/Resident Evil 4 plotline.

I'll be very disappointed if there's no dueling banjos minigame. Make it happen Ubisoft.

Gianforte will be a mini-boss whose bodyslams you must dodge through a lengthy QTE sequence.

Far Cry 6:
Escape from liberal university campus

The player is a cishet straight white man.

Main antagonist: a crazy engineer who thinks he is a scientist known as B.N.

Enemies: 57 different gendered fat people with 57 different haircolors and pronouns.

And the best boss fight in the game (if one could call it that)? Someone who identifies as an Apache Attack Helicoptor, and has had the necessary surgeries!

Might be a bit powerlevely, but I had a civics teacher in high school who did Census work back when he was in college and he had to go to Montana. He said the thing he remembered the most was being intercepted by a pair of guys in a pickup at the gate to a ranch, both with what looked like surplus Vietnam M-14's (probably Ruger Mini-14's) and both casually telling him that if he was with the ATF they'd shoot him, before taking the forms and asking why he was there.

One of the protagonists is a black Christian preacher, so the 'look at how evil le Christians are' plot theory is thankfully off the menu. Only problem now is that he'll probably communicate solely in quips from or loosely based on the Bible, as tends to happen with preacher characters.

...although in all fairness, most preachers I've talked to do tend to bring up Bible verses in conversation a lot.

"In a change for the series, you can choose to play as a man or woman and pick your skin color." ONLY 2 GENDERS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I'm just going to point to the original Call of Juarez where when you played as Ray McCall you had a bible as a weapon and when you clicked it you quoted nice fire and brimstone passages.

It was stupid awesome.

As for Far Cry 5... damn I'm legit hyped for them taking it back to its core and yet still doing something nice and different with it. The characters look genuinely interesting and while I'm sure the tards in VICE and Polygon will do their retarded talk of how its totes about the Trump World guize... I don't necessarily see it that way.

Indeed, Pastor Jeffries could actually be the most interesting provided he's written like other characters in the series. He certainly seems to lament the decline in the flyover states and the fact that they didn't offer out a hand when they should have and that in that way he's failed badly as a Christian. Could be a legit interesting arc of redemption and such.

Will the cult be the real enemy; or will you find out halfway through the game they are a front for big oil/military industrial complex/Chinese big business and the heavily armored endgame units roll in?
