I really enjoyed 3 and 4, and I thought Primal was decent, so this is definitely on my radar.

Boring location imo, they should've had it set in the Arctic or something

How bad do you think their condesension for rural America will be?

A guy on Reddit claims he was Q&A for the game and the main villain is a shirtless preacher who carries around a Bible. Yea it's Reddit but I've heard stuff from other sources too that suggests this will be "look how terrible and bad Christians are" the game.

If that's true (assuming that they won't depict the cult as using religion as a façade to commit all sorts of crimes), hopefully the game itself will still be fun.

Maybe the cult is the Shemale Tranny Church led by St. Herk himself, Conald Petersen, the one and only Fedsmoker. The barren interstates of the northern midwest are his stomping grounds, after all.

There's someone using someone else's head to hit the bell in the church. Looked kind of "zombie-like" or inhuman to me. Are the enemies supposed to be infected, zomboids or some sort of mind controlled drones?

Aside from that there's literally nothing to see yet so I don't give a shit.

Regardless of how the game turns out, I can see the left (particularly Neogaf) use it as ammo against the "deplorables", especially if the main character isn't a white guy.

So Ubisoft pretty much took the mock GTAV game "Pride not Prejudice" and set it in the northwest..

Is this Ubisoft's way of making the games setting be a far cry from what Far Cry's traditional locales are?
