Forgot exactly what fanfiction it was that had over 800k words but this is straight to the point with tags so I say with full faith, this is the TRUE successor to that one.

Eh to be completely honest I could probably pass this as just being disgusting instead of being fucked if it wasn't Loli/Shota and or underage characters getting gang raped.

E: So not really a screenshot submission but I wanted to add something else than my two cents, I think it's been mentioned before but there's Real Person Fiction involving Anna Kendrick, Ariana Grande and a ton of others with gore, necrophilia and a ton of other shit (literally) in it, AO3 is tame most of the time but WOO BOY.

Christ, this thing is even longer than Atlas Shrugged.
If I remember right, there was a fanfiction that was longer than La Recherche, but I don't remember the title.

The longest work in the English language is a Loud House fanfic, and the second longest is a Smash Bros. fanfic.

My god... and Loud House revamped has over 1200 chapters...

To put the word count into perspective:
-The King James Bible has ~783,000 words
-War and Peace has ~587,000 words
-All seven Harry Potter books have ~1.08 Million words

Add all of those together and you'll get approximately 36% of this fic's word count.

Based on each of their word count, publish date, and most recent update as of 10/14/2020, I calculated their average words per day.
TLHR: 6,768,942 words/1074 days = 6303 words/day
AAFS: 4,556,264 words/ 1085 days = 2524 words/day
SEWC: 4,102,328 words/3752 days = 1093 words/day
Even with a head start of almost a decade, SEWC is lagging behind TLHR.
That's a lot of dedication.

Autism and lack of a social life. At least friends would proofread for you to make sure your writing's pleasing to the eye (that atrocious Loud House fic being the longest-written work is a testament to how far we've fallen as a species) as well as not break the goddamn rules.

Seriously, it's against the rules to make chat/script formatted stories, but no one ever enforces them.
